excellent
The boots are good for size, if a little to snug wet them and they fit perf. Have been ordering this brand boot for almost a decade. Good buy.... Aloha
Once I tried the first pair, I keep coming back for more. They last about 8 month with hard wear every day in construction! Highly recommended
I already did a review for these. There were other reviews. What happened to them? These fit well, little snug maybe. Got them for a job, not hiking. They seem too thick and warm, as warm or more than my winter waterproof boots.I hoped they'd be breathable for hot weather. I have a pair of jungle boots from this company and really like them but the tops are too high for work boots.Bought a pair of Bates desert boots, low top, last year. They were mesh like running shoes and really cool but the mesh ripped out after about 3 months.
Very comfortable shoes. Quality is as expected from 5.11. Definitely recommend.
Tons of support plush padding.
I have had 4 pairs of boots in the past. None have been an everyday wear. I do disaster volunteering, and each deployment is a different type of terrain and danger. I have done marine/mangrove clean up, muck out post floods, debris removal, demolition, roofing, long days standing and twisting. Always ended up having to switch out of other shoes in middle of work, due to back pain, my feet always feel constricted, I don't have the flexibility needed to change roles. The founder of the non profit Third Wave Volunteers let me try hers on and it was a game changer. Came home from Hurricane Ida disaster in Louisiana and purchased mine. I used them at home, in back yard, suburban walk abouts, just to break them in....they did not need breaking in. I left again for Houma, Louisiana and wore them all the time. This is by far the most comfortable, protection I have ever had. The material is easy to clean, even with my biodegrade Mr Bronner, which I suggest you use, in case you can't get all the soap off of them. These boots are supper light, bend when you need them to, thick sole, great grip for hiking and in muddy wet conditions. This babies are going to Costa Rica for a 1 month hiking adventure. Then onto Spain!!!I finally have the appropriate boots and I am looking forward to all the great adventures.
