Great boot and looks good. A little narrow or my feet are getting wider.
My husband really likes these boots. He's a big fan of 5.11 tactical anyway. He said these shoes were very comfortable and they work well with pant legs. He did mention that they were not a true coyote brown, more of a desert brown for those that are looking for the true coyote color.
I've been told a few times that tac boots are better than purpose built boots for general use and after using these I'd definitely have to agree. They're much better fitting, much more comfortable and unless you need a steel toe I don't see an advantage to basically any other work boot I've worn in the past and I've worn a lot and tried every type that exists at this point.I generally run a size 12 in my daily drivers, but these in an 11 were a perfect fit. Tight at first, but not uncomfortable and breaks in to a pretty much perfect, snug fit. They are also super comfortable after breaking them in. I don't feel like my movement is constrained at all.Time will tell how these truly hold up, but from appearance and fit in finish I have high confidence in these. At this point these are definitely the best all around experience for the money that I've had so far. I've spent double the money on boots half as nice so I am pretty stoked on these.Everyone is different in their needs and tastes, but from my perspective I would definitely recommend people at least give these a try if you can.
Run small
I like these combat boots, I never owned a 5.11 gear before so I wasn’t sure about the quality but I got impressed, the boots is everything I like from a boot, comfortable sole, a zipper to place my feet on easy, durable layers, well done stitching, and firm stability. The images don’t make justice, the color is much better in person. The fit is excellent and true to size. I couldn’t see any imperfections or glue which makes me confident they are well made and I hope they withstand harsh conditions.Value point they’re great value, any combat boots of good quality it’s usually more expensive and these 5.11 accomplished excellent quality and style for a reasonable price.
I love 5.11, I exclusively wear their pants, they are the only ones I own. I really want to love the boots, especially these, they're really nice and for the most part I do, except they run small. It's probably just my feet, they are weird, but these seemed especially small for the size. I don't know if getting a wide size or 1/2 sizing up would be better, but that's what I'd recommend. As for the boots themselves, they are great quality and built very well.
