worn them non stop for the past few weeks.
update year later. the soles have ripped off the shoes. the leather torn where it is glued inside where leather meets rubber. sucks cause i love wearing these boots. but idk if i wanna order another pair and only last a year and i really haven't put them to real use. someone who is on their feet all the time will prob wear them out faster then i did.so if i order another pair. I'm going to also order more shoe repair glue and spread it around the leather where meets rubber so don't rip as fast maybe. also i treat all my leather shoes with KIWI.so far they have held up great i haven't really work abused them yet. BUT they are really well made. this company for the price of these boots blows away many other brands i have tried the past few years.like i have tried sketches. CAT. wolverine. under armor. and these boots blow them all away in new shoe comfort. and how well they are made. i can tell their not gonna rip apart at the seams like others.and get this.they come protected with a really good protectant.when i say these are awesome shoes i mean these really are awesome shoes. i am picky about shoes. i don't wanna pay high prices for uncomfortable. and i don't wanna buy cheap crap. and these boots are neither.... don't short your self don't think twice. buy these shoes and give them a try.ALSO get this. i have a small foot. size 9. no other manufacture makes a true size 9.or a size 10.and these boots size 9 fit me perfectly. i am stuck with 2 pairs of cat boots i cant wear cause their sizes do not match up at all. best boots i have bought in 20 years.UPDATE: 6 months later. best budget boots have ever bought. i do construction. i have used these boots all summer everyday. no back aches. not leg aches that all other boots esp like sketchers caused me.they came pre treated and nice and soft. i did treat these 1 time with kiwi that first week i got them.they are still amazing soft. i been around concrete work. staining, pressure washing,,, yes your foot will get wet if doing alike work. but if step in a puddle while walking no issues. but walking in wet grass for a period of time yes you will get a wet foot. even with kiwi treatment but dry out pretty fast in front of a fan and haven't dried cracked or shrank. no rips in the rubber to leather meeting area, these really are amazing boots for their price. i did wear out the insoles that came with them in the first 2 months. i am using a cheap heavy duty replacement. i do not like gel insoles etc they cause my back pains. these boots with just thin padding have been amazing.keep in mind your foot wont breathe well in them. so soon ya can each day get them off let feet air out and wear something else at home :) and do not wear black socks with them your feet will really stink then lol.

Amazing value
I've been putting them to hard use in the shop almost daily welding and doing metalwork for a couple months. They still look almost new, no noticeable damage or tread wear and are comfortable.They are not a hiking boot as the don't have adequate support for uneven ground.

Outlasted my Keens
I work on well systems in Arizona which means my shoes go through triple digit temperatures, digging trenches, constant kneeling, crouching, sitting on my feet, walking over rocky terrain, frequent contact with mud and water, etc. Near the beginning of this year I bought these boots; maybe a month or so later our company gave us gift cards to buy boots at a retail store. I bought a pair of Keens which were approximately three times the price of these boots. Since that point I have alternated pretty faithfully between the two so they have had pretty equal usage although there has still been more mileage on these ones. The toe/sole on my Keens just separated, and the soles are pretty worn down... these Aegiswarms are still truckin’.They are very light, which I like, while still being sturdy enough to feel like my feet are protected.A couple of negatives – the hooks and loops for the shoelaces are made out of plastic and seem to chew on the shoelaces. That said, they are sturdy plastic and I have not had any of them break.The traction on these boots is not very good. The sole pattern is fine, but they still do not grip the ground particularly well. I think the rubber is too hard to get a really good grip, although that does seem to have extended the life of the tread; my other boots have softer soles and better traction but the rubber is wearing down significantly.We got a half size down from my normal and the fit was good.The waterproofing is very nice and I have no complaints about its functionality.For the price… Definitely a five-star purchase.EDIT- I am so disappointed to have to stop making these my go-to boot purchase, I hope that they come out with a wide version. Still love the boots, still impressed by their longevity, I don't know if their design changed on my feet changed, but I need a wide version to be able to keep ordering them.
