Great traction and lightweight

These boots are very lightweight and have good width. I usually need wide width but these were perfect - plenty of room for thick socks. I have a sloped backyard in New England and needed something that would have traction so I don't slip taking my dogs out and doing some yard work in the winter snow and ice or in the spring thaw when the ground is mushy. The traction is excellent! They are very comfy - soft inside and warm as well as easy to slip on and off. I am not sure they would work for serious hiking or snow sports but perfect for what I needed.
