Very comfortable shoes
Most pickleball shoes are not for pickleball but are a general court shoe. The Acacia shoe is different, designed for pickleball, it ha a softer tread and a sole pattern that is optimized for pickleball. The softer tread does result in faster wear but I play 5+ times per week and I really ike the shoe.

Parts of shoe coming unglued after only 8-9 hours of use
I am a semi-pro pickleball player, approximately 5.2 rating. I have gone through a LOT of shoes the past 7-8 years on the pickleball court, and I can say that without a doubt, these are the worst shoes I have ever purchased. After only 8-9 hours of court time, the hard black plastic on the outside of BOTH shoes are coming unglued. (see photos). In addition, the front toe protector on one of them is also coming undone. I even included a photo of the soles to show that there is very little wear on them, emphasizing the point that these shoes have not been worn very much at all. I rotate between 4 other pairs of shoes so unfortunately, the return date has passed. I appealed to Acacia directly, showing them these same photos, but they only offered a paltry 40% discount on a new pair of their shoes. Needless to say, I will NOT be buying another pair of their shoes ever again.

Not sure if I have the right size or these shoes tend to be better for narrow widths
These ACACIA Pickleball shoes are unisex sizing, which is always confusing for me. I ordered a size 5 and I usually wear a women's 6.5 or 7. The size 5 was about right, but felt a little snug in the toe box. I would have thought that a unisex size would, in general, be a bit wider. The description also says 'wide fitting', but these don't seem wide fitting to me.Compared to my 6.5 Babolat Jet Mach 3 All Court Tennis Shoes, and the Acacia shoe is a tad bit narrower.Compared to my 6.5 Wilson Rush Pro shoes, the Acadia shoe is a lot more snugger in the toe box and across the top of the foot.Compared to my other shoes, the length seems to be about the same, but my toes almost reach the end of the Acacia shoe. After walking around the house with them, they still seem snug. The material seems to be very plastic-y, so I am not sure these will stretch out.The Acacia shoes have areas that look like ventilation cutouts with mesh inserts, but when viewed from the inside of the shoe, there are no corresponding ventilation holes. So the areas with mesh are just superficial decorations. Included a picture of the inside of the shoe, but it's hard to see anything inside because the interior is black. The included insoles are different too. There is a thin piece of padding that sits under the arch, which felt strange, since I am used to a firm arch support, like from SuperFeet. Under the heel is a small oval shape of a squishy gel material. I am not sure of the intent and purpose of these pads.Overall, these shoes are not quite what I was expecting, and since the fit is questionable, I am not sure I will keep them.

bad soles and terrible warranty
Purchased in May 2022 and have holes in the soles (near the toes) and tears/holes on the sides of the shoe. They lasted only about 3 months. I tried to send them back, but was told the numerous holes are what is to be expected. I won't buy these shoes again.

width is pretty close to other pickleball shoes
I was expecting a wide(r) toe box shoe but alas...this shoe is pretty close to the standard width of most pickleball shoes (e.g., from KSwiss and Head). nothing special. i need to keep looking for a shoe that's similar in style to a true wide toe box shoe like the zero/topo shoe footprint, but w/ more support needed for tough court action.
