The leather was good quality and comfort. Basically true to size. I usually wear a 6.5W or 7. So I ordered a 7 and it was a little snug but once I loosened the shoe laces it was a good fit.

Classy leather Oxford shoes

These are classic shoes! They fit true to size. They’re a little stiff when they are brand new, but I’m going to break them in as I wear them! I have to wear thin socks with them, no athletic socks. The laces are a bit long and they came with a set of black laces as well.

Not as comfortable as expected

I really REALLY wanted to love these shoes. They were the only oxfords I could find that were blue and white, had overall good reviews and were similar to my Eastlands.Unfortunately, that’s where the similarities end.Full disclosure, I bought these to swing dance in, specifically Shag, so I needed a shoe that was lightweight, had padding in the toe and soles, and were easy to suede.These were not that.They ARE lightweight,they are also nice and roomy in the toe box as well ( even though I don’t care for how rounded the toes are) and if I weren’t returning them, they’d be easy to suede, but unfortunately they aren’t comfortable.It took me a bit to figure out why they weren’t comfortable because they do fit length and width wise.After wearing them around the house for an hour, I realized it’s the ankle that makes these uncomfortable.The ankle has a thick hard rounded padding that presses into your ankle bone.It’s a weird feeling.It doesn’t hurt per se, it’s just uncomfortable.🤷🏽‍♀️I assume if I kept them the rounded part would eventually soften up, but since I bought them for dancing and I dance regularly,I don’t have the luxury of abusing my ankles until the shoe feels better.These would be 4.5 shoes if they made the padding around the ankle soft.I gave these three stars and not lower because some people might like that hard ankle support and if you’re buying them to walk around and not dance in, they are probably a great shoe!Though, I must say, even though these are a great price, my Eastlands are definitely superior, although twice the cost .The Eastlands have amazing memory foam cushion and these, while they have cushion, simply don’t compare.I’d buy the Eastlands for walking around in as well if I had my druthers, but if you are price conscious and aren’t using these to dance in, I’d give em a shot!FYI: the shipping is not free if you have UPS pick up the shoes to return, it’ll cost ya 6 bucks.🤓
