WONDERFUL child's slipper

These are wonderful kids slippers. They do run a little large but I think that is ok as they are WELL MADE and the rubber sole appears to help these slippers last for the long haul. My 9 yo son absolutely loves these slippers. The outer fleece is pretty rough but repels minor spills, while the inner lining is soft, warm, and cozy like momma's sheep skin slippers which were FAR more expensive. All in all, I am very seriously considering buying another pair a size larger just in case because they are that awesome.

good traction & warm, run small end

I agree with many of the other reviews. My priority was a no skid bottom for our 1925 hardwood floors and staircase, yet still maliable bottoms. Done. Warm & comfy, my 3yr old wears them. Check. They stay on, wheras the low-back clog style ones come off. Good. He is approaching a solid toddler size 8. These 8-9's FIT, not much room to spare. His feet will overheat if he wears sox. As they are rather cushy, I wonder how much room might be gained once he breaks them in. Feels like a memory foam-like core. The leaping lizard print is quite cute and could be considered a unisex print. Overall pleased.

are super comfortable, and he loves wearing them

After reading all the reviews, I went up a size. He was just growing out of the size 8 and I actually purchased the 10/11. Yes, they are a bit large but they actually stay on his feet, are super comfortable, and he loves wearing them. I know they're good for the entire winter so I am totally satisfied. I thought they'd be even bigger than what they were so am perfectly content.

The slipper themselves are great and I love that the sole of the shoe ...

The product runs small. I purchased the same size/product in a store and they were at least a shoe size different. Attached is an image; the purple Acorn Moc Slipper I got in a store and the Acorn Moc Slipper I purchased in Amazon. The slipper themselves are great and I love that the sole of the shoe doesn't slip but definitively buy a size larger if ordering from Amazon.

stuffing toes with tissue and the like. These

I absolutely adore these slippers. I purchased these for my adult, disabled sister, who can be difficult to fit b/c she wears a size 2 children's shoe. We often have to improvise with shoes for her, stuffing toes with tissue and the like. These, however, fit her perfectly. You could see that she was happy walking around in them rather than the clopping about she'd been doing in a prior pair that had been too large. The only drawback occurred in how they'd been shipped. They were sent in a soft package w/o benefit of any kind of protective wrapping. Consequently, the shoes were crushed causing them to lose a bit of their shape and fit wider than normal. I had to set them aside and stuff them with paper for a couple of days to try and regain their original shape. It helped some, but in the future, Amazon needs to be more attentive about how they package certain items. I didn't return them b/c it's a hassle and they were sorely needed. The slippers deserve 5-stars; Amazon gets 1 star for expediency.
