Great COMFORTABLE Anytime
My husbands favorite and only slipper he will wear. No matter the budget, he'd wear these to work if he could ! He does have a lower flatter instep and they feel great. Summer or winter the same.

I have only been wearing these new slippers about a week now but from the moment I put them on, I had a big smile on my face. Very comfortable and I love the sole and overall construction of the slipper. In my mind, a super value for the quality of the slipper's construction and the comfort they provide me. We have all wood floors in our home. As I work from home, I have these slippers on the better part of the day. And, they are so comfortable that most of the time I forget they are even on my feet. They come with a durable sole and plenty of arch support. I use mine inside the house but you could easily walk outside to the paper or mail without concern. They look sharp too. Buy a pair or two, you will not be disappointed.
Overall a good slipper; I got what I expected. I like the weather resistant outsole on the bottom; they have handled wet grass just fine so far. They are cozy, and they don't seem to make my feet sweat too much, although they do still sweat some. I found that they do fit a little larger and clunkier than I expected, but they don't fall off my feet. I would be hesitant to try the next size down since the size ranges are so large and those might be ever so slightly small. They do fit better with socks on (strange, I know), and the slight sweatiness isn't as prominent. I think these are good for the price and worth the ~$45 I paid for them.
Just bought my second pair. First pair lasted a year and the inside just got worn from wearing them all the time in the house. But they are warm, and have a nice subtle arch/heel support. Sole and stitchings are very well made and had no issues with. Very comfortable width and toe room, from a bigger guy with big feet. I usually wear size 12 wide in sneakers, crocs I wear size 13, boots are either 12 wide or 12and half wide and these size 12-13 acorns are the perfect size . They fit snug barefoot when you first get them , now they slip on and off while wearing socks with ease. I seen this on sale for as low as $26 during warmer months but if you need these now while it’s cold they are worth $45 which is what it’s listed as of now.
Wasn't formed but great quality
Best thing about Amazon is the ability to look up past purchases, so I can confidently say it took 5 years and 4 months for me to kill my Acorns (the battered blue pair on the right).I was not gentle on these slippers. I wear them briefly every morning, but sometimes for the entire day on weekends. The rubber bottom that comes up the side is so protective that I wear them taking out the trash, working in the garage, and even running across the street to the store -- mostly because I forget that they're only slippers. Heck, I've got actual shoes less well made than these.Aside from some rattiness at the heel, what finally did these in was my habit of wearing them all day without socks. Yeah, wool is naturally antimicrobial, but these are toasty, so my sweaty feet made them all stinky. Still, 5+ years is a great run. As you can see, the soles are still in great shape, and the inside is still pretty comfy.Acorn no longer makes the Digby in women's. When my wife kept stealing my slippers, I ordered her a pair of the men's size small (those are the brown ones on the left; that pair is over 2 years old). The women's 9.5-10.5 is slightly longer than the men's 7.5-8.5 and both are great for a woman who wears a size 10, as we both do.This is the downside to marrying another woman with the same size feet: she steals your shoes. Fortunately, that's a great excuse to go and buy another pair of these Acorns!
This may be anecdotal but these started out great. They're comfortable and warm, but not too warm. Overall I liked them, except for once a couple months went by. What had happen was the inner lining of the insoles began to separate from the foam support. At first it was no big deal but eventually it became completely detached and the show was no longer comfortable due to the rolled up mess of fabric. The rest of the shoe is still in great condition, including the outer shell, rubber tread, and foam support. Had the fabric liner of the foam support not become detached I'd still be wearing them.
