Great slippers for fit, comfort, & lasting literally years

Wow, just drafting a review for something i got very recently & happened to notice these slippers on my not-yet-reviewed list. Normally i wouldn't bother but it reminded me that i got these a good while ago (Amazon says i got them in May 2022) and am STILL using them. They've been my go-to footwear for much of the year (not great for hot weather!) & i've found them comfortable, & considering how long i've been using them, amazingly sturdy, especially for what was then a fairly cheap pair of slippers. (If i remember what i paid correctly, price increases with recent huge tariffs have sure had an impact, even considering that prices of most goods ordinary people use have gradually increased over the years, as has been normal for most of my life. And that led me to check a bit more of the description/specs & notice the listing says the soles are rubber. Actual rubber! Yikes, they must be old; everything i've bought over the last few years seem to be made exclusively of synthetics. But maybe that's part of why they've felt so easy to wear, without slipping off or cramping my feet.Whatever the reason, these have just seemed to wear very well over more time than i'd think for what i figured to be an ordinary pair of slippers. And i must say that, while shoes, as opposed to slippers (which i haven't bought again recently) have been the real culprits, i've been quite displeased with a lot of the synthetics, ironically the worst being a "slip-on" pair of shoes which made me want to get back to these slippers ASAP!So these get what for me is a rare rating of full 5 stars, & without reservation -- they've just been great (& i'm a tough customer). Enjoy.

Great Slippers!

I gave these to my husband for Christmas last year. He loves that he can wear them both indoors and out. The quality is fantastic and he loves them.

You get what you pay for

They fit fine and are comfortable for a handful of months. It's a typical made in China item that will quickly fray and wear out with daily use. But aside from basically needing to be a subscription item, they are comfortable to start with and beat walking around barefoot or getting your socks dirty going to get the mail.

Hotfoot!

It's funny how I never noticed just how cold my feet would get until I put these on tonight and wore them for a few hours. It was one of those moments of realization that occur infrequently: I realized that I'll probably have to buy slippers for the rest of my life! Seriously though, these slippers are great! Comfortable and extremely warm. I can't do the barefoot thing so wearing these with ankle socks and my feet are TOASTY. My apartment gets chilly in the winter so I'm looking forward to seeing how well these do over the coming months. Construction seems solid. If I get a year our of them I'll be more than happy.Affordable, comfortable, and warm. If you're on the fence about these, look at it like this: the cost would be lunch and dinner out. I don't know about you, but that's worth warm feet this winter to me.Size Observation for Wide: I read the other reviews before purchasing and made a slight mistake when choosing a size (completely my fault, this is in no way a criticism of Acorn). I'm a 10.5 W, and per other reviews suggesting ordering a size up, I ordered the 10.5-11.5W and they're a touch too big. NOT a big deal as I'll only be wearing them inside, I'm too lazy to exchange them, and overall these slippers are doing exactly what I want them to (which is keep my feet warm). Not sure if the standard width would different, but the wide will probably run pretty true-to-size. Also not sure the 9.5-105W wouldn't be too snug (as I obviously haven't tried them). Just a suggestion for others out there!
