Soft, warm and true to size

I had a pair of Acorn slipper socks with leather bottoms another lifetime ago when I lived in Vermont. Acorns have always had a soft spot in my heart. When I spotted these wool slippers I knew I had to have them. The first day the back edge of the slipper was a little raised but after a day of scuffling around the house it flattened and is super comfy. The wool feels soft and cozy, my feel stay warm and dry. I live in Arizona and our floors are always cold- tile, hardwood and I won’t walk barefoot as we have had scorpions (previous house, but still!) I wear a size 8 and these are true to size. The rubber sole seems nice and sturdy.

So far, so good. They are beautiful felted wool and very comfortable. I thought the felt inside was already beginning to wear thru the felt in heel, but it appears to be an embroidered acorn. I am pretty happy w these slippers.

A great slipper

This is my 3rd pair of the Acorn clog slipper. I like the fabric used for the lining as it doesn't encourage perspiration. It is a sturdy slipper--can be worn outdoors if needed. What I like personally is that it runs narrow and those of us with narrow feet find it difficult to find a slipper that fits. That said, I think it runs a little small--I'm usually an 8N and I ordered the 8-9 and it is none too long. The footbed is comfy and it seems to have decent support for a slipper.
