I love, love, love these slippers! I have been wearing them non-stop since they arrived two weeks ago. They are so comfortable. I've never had slippers so comfy. I wear a size 10.5 normally and these fit perfect, not too big or small, just right. The width is perfect. I am debating on buying another pair, that is how much I love these. I ended up buying my husband a pair of Acorn slippers for x-mas, because I love mine so much, Acorn has a sexy men's slipper, and I can't wait for my hubby to get them! I wish they made shoes this comfortable. They are so beautiful, well made, even non-slip (I think) as I wore them outside on a wet wooden deck with no problems. That is how much I adore these slippers! The first pair is still holding up well to washings. I wear them whenever I go outside in the backyard, mostly walking on grass. They are slightly worn looking compared to the new pair. The new pair I wear around the house and in the front yard (mostly walking on the side walk). I even wore them to the ER recently, because I felt like I could get away with it and why the heck not, I thought I was dying. Hehe. I wish I could find comfortable shoes like these slippers for going out on town!

My First Pair of Acorn Slippers
I’ve been wearing the forest purple hedgehog slippers for 3 days and here’s my thoughts on them. They are nice and comfortable. I purchased the XL 9.5-10.5 bc I couldn’t make up my mind about the size due some say they run big and some say they are snug or small. The width of the slippers are bigger than a normal medium and the length is compared to 10.5. So for me I normally wear women’s size medium shoe 9.5 for a regular casual, dress shoe, or sandal and a 10m for a boot, or sneakers. My foot is between narrow and medium. I have a long slender foot. The slippers are wide and I have 1 “ of toe room with a thin pair of socks on. When I put on a thicker sock the width feels a little wide and toe room about 1”. They are a lot better with a thicker sock on but I don’t want to wear a thick sock with these. I like a thin sock and if I go with no socks my feet are going swimming inside from to much width. I like the design and the Berber is soft and my feet didn’t hurt at all walking around in them on tile and wood floors. I have very sensitive feet so that was good, I even walked outside my garage on the sidewalk in them and felt like they have good support. I paid full price 54.00 for my slippers and debated whether to return them and chickened out and ordered another pair for 29.00 a different style the Acorn Moc chinchilla size L 8-9 and received them today and I really the like the fit and look great. These have a full covered heel and with thin socks on fit perfect. Now my toe is close to the top and the width fits like a glove and I have a little wiggle room, more room if no sock is on. They even feel comfortable with a thicker sock and I still can wiggle my toe with no pressure. So my size is L 8-9. Since the purple hedgehogs are a slid on I can live with the extra room but I do wish I had gotten the L. I’m home recovering from back surgery and didn’t want to worry someone to return them for me since I can’t drive. It is expensive this way but I was in need of a new slipper that wasn’t crowding my toe and comfortable. Even though the weather here in Florida isn’t as cold as up north I travel and with tile floors they get cold when the temperature drops. I deducted a point because of the size chart variation otherwise I would have given a 5. Hopefully my review on the size of this slipper can help someone get the right size the first time! I hope I can get years of use out of these like others have! Happy shopping!🙂

UPDATED: [August 17, 2018]I'm officially done with ever ordering these again. Sadly, this last pair (my third), which I only ordered, received and began wearing in May, have already fallen apart. I was disappointed that my previous two pairs only lasted 6-7 months, but not even 3 months? No way. The price far exceeds the staying power. I'm so sad because I love everything about these, except the fact that they're crazy expensive for the quality. Back to Dearfoams, even though they're nowhere near as comfortable and beautiful as Acorns. :-(I've now purchased these slippers three times in less than 2 years. I really adore the way they look, fit, and feel, so I continue to order them when they're worn out (which happened to be within 6-7 months with both my last two pairs). They are so very comfortable! They stay feeling soft and cushy inside the entire time, but, the thing is, the material WEARS OUT - and I do mean WEARS THE HECK OUT - within 6-7 months. I just received my latest (third and last pair). As much as I love them, I can't be throwing away $50 every 7 months on these things. So, unless I can get them at a pretty decent discount, I won't be ordering them again. On opening up my latest pair tonight, I read the tag and it annoyed me because it says: "Your Acorns will provide years of comfort and durability by following simple care," and it goes on to give cleaning instructions. I have never even attempted to clean mine, so they've not been put through anything that should have worn away the material. I never even wear them outside the house - not even to go throw out the trash.
