These are so comfy. They kind of look like Toms and the ribbon on them is super cute. Good grip on the bottom and warm (but my feet don't sweat in them). I'm an 8.5/9, and they're a bit loose fitting around the foot with ample room at the toe. They don't slip off at all, but if you're a smaller 8 or like a snug slipper you could consider the size down.
Loved the color and texture and the fact that these are machine washable. Just set them out for a day to dry and ready to go again. These have gone through 4 washes, all winter, with no structural issues. Good foam in the footbed too.
I really like Acorn slippers and decided to get another model in lieu of my usual. I've small feet and opted for size "small," which I thought the equivalent of the 5-6 sizing that I'd used in the other model.To my surprise, the small actually runs big and although it didn't seem to be a big deal at first, I'm beginning to think that they might still stretch with use and I won't be able to use them as long as I have other of my Acorn slippers. If not for this sizing issue, I'd rate this purchase higher.
The ribbing around the opening make it hard to get on and feel tight on top of foot. Not a good choice for ribbing.Too uncomfortable for me.
I tried on a lot of house shoes because I am picky. I love these- the fit, the color, the material… All around they are awesome. I ordered a second pair so I had a back up, but after wearing for a year, I’m not even close to needing to replace them. The material is very soft and the sole is not too hard, but I don’t worry about walking outside in them. They stay on my heel, but are still easy to slip on hands free. Even bought them as a gift for someone else.
The small would've been too small because I like to wear a sock especially since Acorn no longer makes an affordable wool slipper. The medium is way too long in length, but tight in the middle because of the ribbing material and there are also places in the slipper which rub my feet wrong. I am very disappointed.If you have peripheral neuropathy, then you know how much your feet feel the cold. These slippers are NOT a solution.
These slippers fit great and they are warm and comfy. Acorn makes great slippers and I have owned quite a few different pairs over the years. They are well made and hold up well.
