Took a chance ordering boots online, pleasantly surprised. Good thick leather, has padding inside, no flaws or defects, fits perfectly. I'm an old infantry guy so my footwear is important, definitely worth the money.
Great climbing boots
These seem like a nicely made work boot but they weren't what I was looking for so I returned them. This was completely my fault as the product listing is perfectly clear about what these are. What I was looking for was a boot that I could wear with casual clothes for winter. These are too big, stiff, and heavy for that. In addition, without speed laces, they take way too long to get in and out of. Also the heel height makes them look a little like a women's fashion boot for my taste. Not into high heel boots for men.With my dumb mistake out of the way, I'll say the construction of these boots seems really solid for the price point. The waterproof design with a membrane similar to Gore-Tex and a heavily lugged sole that mimics a Vibram design makes for a nice boot in snow, rain, or mud. They aren't insulated but insulation isn't always needed by everyone. The leather appears to be full grain cowhide which should hold up pretty well to abuse. The stitching looks to be well done. And the tongue is gusseted to just above the ankle which should help keep water and debris out. And they fit true to size for me in an 11 D (medium width). The one thing I'd knock these for is the lack of a speed lacing system. Eyelets in a boot this high make it slow and cumbersome to get in or out of them.
I'm going to pair of these boots for 3 years I work construction there's a long lasting comfortable boots that can take a beating very impressed
These boots angle out in the back from the ankle up, I have worn boots every day for the last 40 years and this is a bad boot. I should have returned them but now I will donate them to the homeless

The boots are fair quality for the actual leather, besides this synthetic leather cover, I've had the boots now for about three months now, if they put actual leather there instead of synthetic junk, it would be so much better, I highly recommend replacing the inside soles immediately when you get them.
