my daily wears
I've had these boots more than a year now, they are still solid, soles still in good condition. I wear them a few times a week for chores, and for pretty much any time i leave the house that i'm not dressed up.I bought only a half size large, and went for the wide, and.. i could have bought my actual size, but the extra room in the toebox doesn't bother me. I usually wear a mens 9.5 or womens 11, and i would say that these are off by a quarter of a size or so, rather than a half size. i would also say that the "wide" is slightly less wide than one would expect, slightly wider than a normal medium. the leather did stretch well, and fits to my calf completely now, so about 15" as i have quite muscular legs.honestly, i took a bit of a gamble on these boots, as id have preferred something made in the us, and usually find cheap chinese made boots to be of much thinner leather.when i resole them, i will be going with a vibram sole with a slightly higher heel and pulling out the original liner and insole, but... beyond the cheap liner and insole, these boots are fantastic for the price.... if you manage to get the right size.

Should be 5 stars
Only four stars because I just got them and time will tell if they last. They are well made non steel toe boots. The heel is a little softer than I thought it would be but seems to add to comfort while walking. The feel comfortable but I have yet to wear them for a long time and I can alway add sole inserts. Overall I’m happy. I think the black die in the leather will probably bleed for a while but hopefully once they are broken in all will be good. So at first I’ll say five stars but we’ll see about longevity. 👍🏿

Solid work boot for the money.
Solid work boot, needs very little break in time, one or 2 days, feels comfortable on hard concrete floors for 10 hrs, good fit for hiking and working in yard. Good ankle support. Good in all weather. Would buy again, as with new dyed leather the dye rubs off inside until broken in, so wear black socks.

Fits true to size
I asked for a size 13 but I got a 12. Honestly I am glad I did. 12 fits great. The shoes hurt but I just need to break them in. I can't wait to start working on the fire line. In all, a good budget boot if you are looking to get into wildland fire fighting.Update:Perhaps the worst boot I ever wore. Going up a size did nothing. I really wanted to like this boot, I spent 6 terrible months with it. My foot kept sliding in the boot causing terrible blisters. It also did not last long by the end of 5 months it was falling apart. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOT. Save a bit more money to buy a pair that will work for you, not against you.

Loooooove these boots!
These boots are high quality, durability, style and comfort! From the first day I put them on, I was so happy I purchased them! They are men’s boots but so perfect for a woman as well with a nice size heel giving you just enough of a comfortable lift. I am usually very hard on my shoes, I work hard and play hard! But these shoes are one of the few that I wear all day on into the night, no problem.

Not a 10 inch shaft but 10 inch total height
Quality on delivery seems OK but not the height I expected. They are not any taller than my old 8" Carolina logger boot. I was expecting a 10" leather shaft hight. Not an overall hight from bottom of boot heal. Was wanting something to give my leg more support and protection. They do have a Removable insole. It is cheaply made. However for me that don't matter because my new orthotic insoles will be being used. The Carolina pair I had was too small with the new insoles so I bought these to try. First pair of AdTech boots so not sure what to expect even though they are owned by the same parent company as Carolina. Also noticed that the heel seems to be one piece formed with the rest of the foot on the outsole instead of being a separate part like the vibram sole of the Carolina. Not sure how this will work out for replacing heels. Will update when I cross that bridge later.

Great value for cost.
Great boots for what you pay!I ordered some expensive hand made boots and they are 6 to 8 months out. I needed something to wear to work while I weight for them. So I ordered the Ad-Tec wild land fire boots. They arrived when Amazon said they would. When I got them I had a large burn on the top of my left foot from wearing irrigation boots to weld in. Ya, not smart, but my regular work boots let go of their soles and the irrigation boots were a little better than socks. The break in was pretty easy other than the burn, and I wore them close to 10 hours a day, every day even with a quarter sized burn on my foot. The toe box, ball of my foot, arch and heal, all feel great. The boots feel stable when walking. The laces only lasted a couple days in the welding shop, as they are nylon or something else that melted. I replaced the laces with a kevlar nomax fire resistant brand. My foot is now healed. I put the boots on at 6:30 in the morning and work on concrete welding and repairs all day and don't take them off again until 9:30 or 10:00 at night. I where them all day every day and my feet feel good.
