I really like these sneakers. As you can tell, I have very big feet, so it's rare that I can find good sneakers and shoes. Well, these are all that I'm looking for. With big feet, I'm also quite tall, so I really need strong support for my arches, and these sneakers work for that wonderfully.The acid test for the sneakers is my twice-weekly table tennis evenings. How do they work to grip the floor, and to permit good foot work? Well, these sneakers passed that test with flying colors. Though I'm tall, my mobility is not as good as it was when I was a lot younger. Hence, I need to be able to pivot more, and NOT slip at all on the floor. I need to be able to move with confidence on the occasionally slippery floor of our venue. Well, I learned very early in the evening that I could move with complete confidence in these sneakers., which was the most important thing. Easy, comfortable movement, without risk of slipping!If YOU play table tennis, then you know how important both your footwork, and your confidence in your footwork, are to the success of your game. Both in being able to position yourself for a given shot, and in being able to react to your opponent's shots. Comfortable, Breathable, Well-Made and Nice-Looking Show
I ordered these tennis shoes to replace an older worn-out pair that I use for racquetball. I will start by noting that I typically do not order tennis shoes that exceed the $100 range as I have been disappointed too many times in the past. So, when I had the opportunity to test and review this shoe I did not hesitate because my racquetball shoes were starting to separate at the soles. At first, this looks like an ordinary tennis shoe that one would see at a gym on any given day. When I picked up the shoe, I immediately noticed the ruggedness and durable feeling to it. From the sole, the ventilated arch, to the tongue, this shoe feels fantastic. They were snug at first, just like any other new shoe, but after a couple of games of racquetball, my feet felt great. I prefer a snugger fit in an athletic shoe to help prevent blisters, but I would say that the shoes are true to size. Normally after a three-game session of racquetball, my feet have sweated a bit and there is a little bit of slide. These shoes breathe so well since they are fully ventilated that your feet may not sweat at all. You can literally see daylight through the shoe while looking through the arch support from the bottom to the top. I really enjoy this shoe. I feel more confident, more in control, more comfortable while wearing these and I would have to say, improved my game a bit as I can pivot and stop on a dime with no slide from the sole or the insole. I have always liked ADIDAS, just never investigated their footwear. Testing this shoe has convinced me to consider other foot apparel from adidas for other tasks. I would order again without hesitation.

I'm really disappointed
(Update: My son wears 12-1/2 shoes and found these shoes to be snug, but still acceptable. He did mention that for his foot shape the arch of the shoe is further back than the arch on his foot. He is going to try these out further to see if there will be any adjustment with breaking the shoes in. We shall see.)I sometimes get size 12 shoes, but usually prefer 12-1/2s if they are available. Since that was an option for this shoe that is what I went with. But no chance of getting my foot into the shoe with socks on. I tried and tried. Barely made it with no socks on, so I gave them a try that way. Really nice shoes, and comfortable. They hold the heel well for active sports yet felt good on the foot for regular walking No excessive arch. Some cushioning on the sole, but not like a couple of others I have tried that were really squishy.The design is very creative with a one-piece plastic sole that extends up the back of the heel. The toes have a very breathable upper surface, so I'm not sure that these would be so good in wet conditions, but they likely are not designed for that purpose. I'm sitting here looking at these saying, if only. Fortunately, they are closer to my son's size so all is not lost. Nice shoes. A littler pricey for what I normally wear.

I understand the hype now.
This is my first pair of Adidas (I’ve always wanted them, but never been able to justify the price). I have to say, it was definitely worth the wait! These are super comfortable - I have a somewhat wide foot but when I usually get wide shoes, it’s too wide - this is the perfect middle ground that allows me to have enough movement, but also snug enough where I have support. The grip is perfect. They are quite breathable because of the mesh like material. And I don’t find myself sweating as much as I normally do. The only thing I will say is that the very back where the heel is does chafe a little bit, but I imagine that will reduce as I break them in more. In the listing photos, the clear-ish area looked like it had a slight yellow hue to it, which is not the case in person (so I’m relieved about that). They look very sharp!

Great walking shoes! May run small for men. Great for slim feet
This adidas mens barricade fits me really well. For reference i am female, usually size 7 to 7 1/2 (depends on shoe brand) and i ordered a size 6 1/2 on mens and fits me right with a bit of allowance. I would say size 6 1/2 mens is size 7 1/2 in women. The shoes quality is also very nice. Been using it for walking and loving it so far. Planned on using it for pickle ball too.I also love the style of it, simple white with addidas design on the size. Comfy and lightweight on the feet. No complaints here just happy with the purchase.
