fit isnt perfect, but its as good as it gets

For reference, I am 5'11 1/2" and weigh about 265. I have no cartilage in one knee and about 20% left in the other knee; severe osteoarthritis in both knees type issues. i also play old school power forward late 80s/early 90's style basketball. screens, passes, inside game; but mainly screens and boxouts. i wear knee sleeves on both knees, and a wrap around brace on the right knee when i play basketball.i ordered a size 13 because that is how my Marquee boosts, and Crazylight boosts are sized. i watched at least three online performance reviews for these shoes before buying them and then again after buying them. they feel as though they fit big, but order your true size and these are gonna work way better than expected. i guess adidas has an issue standardizing shoe sizes across various models, and styles... i have running shoes and skater shoes that all fit great, but in varying sizes from 12, 12.5 and 13... years ago, there was a specific style adidas basketball shoe that only fit me in a 14. my feet are slightly/a smidgen wider than normal, but not enough to be comfortable in a wide sized shoe. anyhow, these shoes are also NOT light... i have high top marquee boosts that feel as though they weigh half as much. i switch between those and these shoes on occasion. however, i will say that although they are heavier, my legs havent been fatigued after playing pick up basketball once per week for about 2.5 hours at a time with about five minutes between games in these hardens. the grip is great indoors maybe too great, like stop on a dime at the wrong time; but i may just be clumsy and uncoordinated. the lock down is really good, however i bought aftermarket lace clips to make sure im really in because the eyelets on the shoes are weirdly set. if i have a con about this shoe is that, at least in the teal color way, they are a dirt magnet when someone steps on your shoe. like, feloniously so.bottom line is that if you love boost, this might be the only current full length boost basketball shoe offered by adidas at the moment. if you have bad knee, hip or back joints, you need to play in boosts. these are great shoes. the forefoot is less boosty, but if i were a guard, i would love it because it gives you very good court feel. stop reading this review and buy the shoe already. you shouldnt regret it.

The best basketball shoe

I actually almost quit basketball before getting these shoes. I thought I was getting too old. I couldn't jump well anymore, my legs were tired and hurting after a game, my agilty was shot. I decided to try a better pair of shoes for my last few games and let me tell you it makes a huge difference. All of a sudden my legs were not sore after games. I move much more easily in these shoes. I even got a dunk in our final league game. These were such a game changer for me. They are super comfortable and have some of the best traction too. I highly recommend.

Great shows, fit, finish and feel.

I tried half a dozen shoes/brands searching for a modern court shoe for outdoor pickleball. I have a wide foot and these JUST make it. They were a bit snug at first but after 2 days of wearing they fit like a glove. I'm normally Nike all the way and haven't found comfortable Adidas, until these. Materials and quality are excellent. The ankle stabilizing "nodules" inside the shoe are smart and make a lot of sense. Visually they look modern and great. I bought another pair in a different colorway for rotation.

Miami Hurricanes.

Going down half a size is the best option for someone who has shorter toes.

Inconsistent Fit

I have a pair of these in a a different color and wanted this color combination. Unfortunately, these (in the same size) were a sloppy fit and I had to return them. My original pair is very comfortable and seems to be well made, I'm just hesitant to buy another pair online due to sizing.
