For those inbetween sizing read this FIRST
Literally just got the shoes in the mail today. The main reason why im writing this review after only the first gym session is because I wanted to comment on the sizing for those that are reading 50 reviews saying different things. Right out of the box the fit was comfortable yet right on the money. I ordered size 11 US, which is dead on true to my sneaker size. I read tons of reviews saying to go half size bigger, or smaller, or even a whole size. That seems like a terrible idea, one reviewer on the Adidas site stood out to me and mentioned that these shoes are supposed to fit relatively snug on your feet and be form fitting, so that your balance is as good as possible, as if you were dead lifting in bare feet essentially. Women may be excluded from this as its a mens shoe and they must order smaller to accommodate. For men i would say order true to size for the best performance possible. The shoe is great and even running a mock dead lift on chest day just to feel it out, I can say im very excited for the next few days when I really get into it. It looks like these shoes are going to last a very long time and are very sharp looking. The black in person is jet black and they look much better than the photos show online. Two thumbs up on this purchase!UPDATE: 2/27/21 -- So far these shoes have held up to many hours in the gym, and im loving them just as much as the day i bought them. Very solid and stable platform to use for all kinds of push/pull workouts. In no way has the shoe fallen apart or degraded at all, including the interior of the shoe. I wear them 3-5 times per week, and going on 2 years of ownership. 5 star purchase and goes great with all my black workout clothes.

Excellent performance in gym and looks great
Function: makes your feet feel like they're welded to the floor. Nice and stable for heavy compound exercises where it's needed. I'll never go back to regular sneakers again while doing squats, deadlifts, overhead press, etc. These shoes are indispensable. They just feel so solid to stand in.Appearance: I bought the red Japanese style shoes, size 14 men's. They're simply the coolest looking shoes I've ever worn in the gym. They have the Japanese word for "weightlifting" in silver on the side, tiny Japanese flags on the heel pull loop, and a funny little cartoon weightlifting guy on a tag on the tongue that you only see if you're really looking closely. They're just great looking shoes and they fit amazing. They have no arch support, which I believe is by design. They are not meant for jogging or waking around all day. They're for lifting heavy things over and over in the gym. Fantastic value!

Work well for lifting
I ordered these since my squishy walking shoes were becoming problematic for lifting and reverse lunges etc. I didn't love the color way on these but one of the few left in my size so I ordered them. They work very well for dumbbell-style lifting. I don't power lift but would imagine they work great for that as well. Very stable and well made.

Boost Your Performance in Style
As a weightlifting enthusiast, I recently invested in the shoes, and I must say, they have significantly enhanced my training experience. These shoes strike the perfect balance between performance, comfort, and style, making them an ideal choice for any weightlifting session. The first thing that impressed me was the shoe's design. The adidas Powerlift 4 boasts a sleek and modern look that sets it apart from other weightlifting shoes. The combination of breathable materials and supportive overlays not only provides stability but also adds a touch of style to my gym attire. One of the most crucial aspects of weightlifting shoes is the sole, and the Powerlift 4 excels in this department. The raised heel and firm TPU wedge offer excellent stability during squats and other compound lifts. This feature helps me maintain proper form and allows me to hit deeper squats with confidence. The shoes' lightweight construction surprised me as well. Despite their sturdy build, the shoes feel surprisingly light on my feet, allowing for effortless movement during explosive lifts. The flexibility in the forefoot ensures I can move freely without compromising on support.Comfort is another highlight of these weightlifting shoes. The plush padding around the collar and tongue provides a snug fit around my ankles, reducing the risk of irritation and blisters during intense workouts. The secure lace closure system further enhances the fit and eliminates any slippage inside the shoe.Durability is never an issue with adidas products, and the Powerlift 4 is no exception. The reinforced synthetic leather and sturdy construction assure me that these shoes will withstand the rigors of regular training sessions for a long time.Overall, the weightlifting shoes have significantly elevated my lifting game. They strike the perfect balance between functionality and style, making me feel confident and ready to take on any lifting challenge. If you're a serious weightlifter or even just starting on your fitness journey, I highly recommend giving these shoes a try. They are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to boost their performance while training in style.
