Blown away

Tremendous, first Adidas trail shoe and was skeptical since Ultraboost was such a poser running shoe. These could not be more different in performance. Best feel I've experienced in trail shoe with mix of feeling ground while also having good amount of cushion. Nothing worse than stackheight for me on trails but I also can't handle low to no drop shoes. These hit a sweet spot and the weight to protection ratio is perfect. Comfort level is outstanding and ran up to 20 miles but they are also great for speedwork on trails. Also best looking trail shoes out there. I run solely on trails and would not recommend these if your run takes you on streets for anything over half mile.

Very Light and Comfortable

I got these shoes for backpacking not trail running. I went on a 37 mile backpacking trip through the Ozarks and prefer the versatility of trail runners over hiking boots. They grip very well except for on wet rock. They are very lightweight, comfortable, and exceptionally agile. The agility was a detriment when carrying a heavy pack and moving quickly over rocky terrain as I twisted my ankles numerous times because there is no lateral stability. But I found if I slowed down and stepped more carefully they did just fine. I like them for backpacking because if I want to put my pack down and go exploring I have the freedom and agility to do so versus being stuck in lumbering hiking boots. If you are light on your feet these are exceptional shoes, and very light, I will continue wearing them backpacking I just have to move 1/2 mph slower than I prefer.

My favorite running shoes/trail runners ever!!

I loved these so much, I bought a second pair after my first ones wore out (I put about 500 miles on them total). I have a pretty good step (don't shuffle, over/under pronate, etc), and so the treads wore off evenly over a long time. Now I still use them as river shoes - and they're awesome at that! The soles are balanced well and have good energy return without getting bubbles from being to soft and running in hotter climates. They pivot at just the right spot on my feet. After wearing out the second pair, I tried to buy a third pair... but they were sold out in my size - on clearance. I bought the updated/next version of these - and they sucked bad!!! The newer version of these had cheaper soles prone to bubbles, had unevenly cut and stitched uppers, and gave me swollen ankles while training for a marathon - super weird. Fortunately, Adidas accepted the return even though I had put about 30 miles on them. So, buy these black and white shoes with the pink stripe on the inside only - not the newer version of the Terrex Speed Ultras.

Best disc golf shoe!

This is my second pair of terrex shoes. I got these because they're lighter and have less sole on the bottom. Absolutely perfect for disc golf. Great traction and they are super comfortable. I ordered a half size down and they were a little tight at first but after a couple weeks of use the have broken in nicely.Edit: Just bought my second pair today! That first pair lasted me through a lot of rounds of disc golf. If you don't know you twist your foot when throwing so my soles usually wear out quickly these held up longer than even my Altras.

Good sneakers

Nice, lightweight sneakers for trail jogging. Well-balanced soles. However, the shoelaces constantly keep untying, often several times per run, which is a bit annoying. Also, the sizing turned out to be smaller compared to other brands, which made them rather stiff for the size I typically wear.

Very floppy support

The sole is awesome, the combo of Boost and Lightstrike gives cushion where needed and some bounce in the heel. These are nice, low, minimal type trail shoes which is rare these days. For me, the upper just doesnt work. There is zero give to it and the heel counter is non-existent. There is zero support in the back of the shoe and it's a big pain to just put them on. A small tab or heel loop would be amazing. There is no chance this upper will break in, it is that non-stretchy.If they fit right of the box, I think they would be awesome and you'll like them. For me they wont work.

For trail running is WOW

Just got these and took them out for a few trail runs — wow. Super lightweight but still feel structured enough to keep my feet stable. The grip is solid on dirt and gravel, and they feel really responsive when I pick up the pace. They do run a little snug in the toe box, so if you have wider feet you might want to go up half a size. Overall, perfect for faster trail days. Glad I picked these up!
