I bought two pair of these for my teenage sons to wear on a hicking trip in Colorado. They both said they were very comfortable and sturdy. I was hesitant to buy the Adidas brand for hiking but after several hikes in rough terrain they are holding up well. Hoping they last.
I disc golf several times a week. typically i find a pair of shoes will show signs of wear after 6 months. So far these have held up well. Tread is great for mud snow and dry. They are cool enough for summer and warm enough for 10 degree rounds in the snow with a pair of wool socks. the fit and comfort has been fantastic. there is good support for the shoe. Put about 250 miles of disc golf on them. I will buy these again. Update. After a year and a half of rotating two pairs and approx 350 miles each pair i am ready to replace these. The sole is coming off one toe box. And the outer toebox has blown out. Still recconmend for year round disc golf.
I bought these shoes for specifically for Disc golf. After only a few months, the lugs have mostly worn smooth on the balls of both feet. It may be that there is simply no way to achieve both high traction and high toughness. Other than the soles, they are quite lightweight and comfortable.
The arch of the foot on the insole is too high (for someone - for me it is ok). Please note these ones are not so comfortable as Terrex Boost are, but they are good for winter.Overall, this is second time I purchase this Adidis. You can see a deferent version in the photos attached. Personally, I like this swift model, but, as I said, they are good for winter and they are not too comfortable as other adidas models. These ones are at the first glance heavier, but after 2 years of wearing I decided to buy another one. The quality is just perfect!!
Shoes are more comfortable out of the box than I thought they would be. I took them on a 2 mile hike today and they were great. Good weight, good traction, fit is just right.
This is my second Terra x from adidas and whilst is very attractive it’s not a comfortable hiking shoe. The sole is very hard with no flex. After a while my feet begin to hurt and my heel is not secure when walking caused by the stiff sole. Very disappointed. Thinking of returning them.
