They're real and they're spectacular

I just got these shoes so I haven't had a chance to wear them for a long time. I am replacing a pair of Ultraboost19 (which seemed pretty much the same as the Ultraboost20). These are definitely different. More boost (performance and looks), stretchier upper (more like spandex rather than the old pair that seemed more knitted), and more ridgid sole. Here are just a couple quick things to draw attention to that I wouldn't have minded seeing.- Fit: I think they fit the same as my UB19. For me, that puts me in between sizes. My foot is on the wider side (not multiple E, but D can be snug). The 10.5 fit, but my toe was pressed almost to the end. For the UB19 I went with that 10.5 and sometimes regretted not sizing up. This time I ordered both a 10.5 and 11. The fit seems the same as the prior pair. This time I'm going with the 11.- Color: I got the gray, with gray boost. It's a relatively light gray. I'm hoping the gray boost keeps cleaner for a bit longer than more standard white. The real test is that my sneakerhead 15 year old thinks they look great.- Real/fake: There seemed to be some comments asking about whether these are real or fake, and some of the comments said they're fake. I can't speak for all of the options, but mine are from amazon.com as seller. They are definitely real.- Price: The price has been odd. I got them for $126. There were only a couple pairs at that low price and I actually liked the gray as much as any other color. It seems to fluctuate between the $126 and $175 on Amazon though.- Performance: As I mentioned, I just got these. I bought them as an every day sneaker and for running when I'm traveling (rather than brining another sneaker). I run in a Brooks, but primarily because I already have them and they are a bit lighter. The Ultraboost certainly feel comfortable and I'm curious to run in them in them sometime soon.

Detailed Review

While the Ultraboost series has always been a walk-worthy running shoe with lots of underfoot comfort, the 2021 design is a complete overhaul. Some things stay the same though; a full-volume midsole made of the responsive Boost foam makes long walks a cushioned affair. Only this time, the midsole is much wider, and thus, a higher volume version of the 2020 model. The outsole is still Continental-branded, but the geometry is nothing like the previous UltraBoost. The forefoot core uses a softer rubber whereas the rest of the outsole is hard rubber. A plastic Torsion shank adds stiffness under the midfoot and forefoot; this helps with the forward rolling movement. On the upper, the plastic midfoot cage returns. It’s not an inconvenience during walks, and the stiff panels keep the foot supported. The knit upper is soft and fits true to size. The toe-box is shallow – something that has been a part of the Ultraboost since its inception.

Awesome shoes

This is my second pair of Ultraboosts from Amazon mainly because the price. These are 130-160 anywhere else and I got them for 90 each time. They are light weight and versatile enough to wear to the gym or to the office on a casual day and still look professional. I feel well supported in these shoes and fell no dismcomfort or pain after hours of being in them.

Son loves these for training

My teen son burns through shoes, either by quickly outgrowing them, or by wearing them out. Invested in a more renowned brand in hopes of more durable shoes. So far, these are very good and worth the outlay. He uses them for training/conditioning drills for soccer, so lots of running and pivoting, etc. Says they fit well so do not irritate his feet and and fairly lightweight. Clean up easily when dirty/muddy so still look nice to wear to class as well.

Second best Adidas on the Market

I have a pair of Ultraboost 19s and my only complaint was that the knit was a bit loose, or losing its elasticity, causing the foot to separate from the sole. So, I thought it might be time for an updated pair. Got the 21s in red.On the plus side, the upper is snug and seems to be more durable that the Primeknit on the 19s. And they look pretty sick.On the minus side, im not sure if its the thickness of the Boost material or what, but its a much less cushioned ride. I'm working harder to keep pace because theres noticeably less bounce in the shoe. Hopefully this is just stiffness from the shoe being new, or intended to create a sturdier step, but I didnt have this issue with the 19s.I'd probably have given it five stars if I hadnt already bought a five star Adidas runner....

Ultraboost. Period.

This is my 3rd pair of Ultraboosts. They are my favorite shoes, the most comfortable and the most futuristic. I really enjoy the comfort. I can wear them all day when I'm on my feet and not be in pain at the end of the day. I wear them to walk in, to workout in, HIIT workouts, cardio workouts, these can do it all for me. I've been buying Adidas shoes for about 25-30 years and I've always been able to blindly buy a size 12 without thinking. Not so with these shoes (or the popular NMDs) however. They always seem to fit a little large at a size 12, which makes them very comfortable for thicker socks. But be aware of that. If you are buying for performance, I'd look to buy at least a 1/2 size smaller or potentially a full size smaller. I can't recommend these enough. I'll tell anyone who will listen to me about how good looking these are and comfortable they are as well. And they can perform when needed as well. Not just a pretty face.

These Ultraboosts are less slip-on but offer more stability and comfort

This was a gift for my husband. Three pairs of Ultraboost slip-ons he purchased about 4 years ago were well past needing to be replaced His original Ultraboosts are no longer offered (at least on Amazon and could not find them on nike.com) so ordered these instead. While they are not easily slipped on despite the raised heel feature -- a shoe horn helps -- the improved comfort and stability makes them a welcome and much-appreciated replacement for both walking and working out in our home gym. The sole is thicker and wider, and the uppers are well made and attractive. Highly recommended.
