Great hiking shoe

Bought these to replace my Merrell Moab which have lost their cushioning. These fit well and gave me the amount of cushioning I was looking for. Wore them on a moderately challenging 4 mile hike on flat, uphill and downhill terrain. The shoes were very supportive and the soles provided excellent grip over rocks and roots. I had to tighten the laces a bit to prevent my foot from slipping inside the shoe, but other than that minor issue they performed very well. Cosmetically seems a mistake to use black and white on a hiking shoe. Shows dirt immediately. I also tried the mid height version and the design made it almost impossible to put on due to the narrow foot opening.

Good traction hikers

Like the color scheme. Used for 12 hours daily on a week long hiking trip. Good traction in all kinds of terrain including wet rocks. Not super breathable but kept my feet dry and were comfortable overall. Got pretty dirty so washed them by hand and they look great again. Will update on durability.

too small and narrow and not flexible enough for wide feet

although this boot looks cool and in practice, I would’ve loved it. It simply doesn’t fit as well as actual ultra boost shoes. It doesn’t have the same flexible upper knit material therefore doesn’t fit my wide foot. It just hurts when I put it on.

Junk

There is so much variability between shoe fit from shoe model to shoe model and even within the same shoe. Also these did not ship in an Adidas box.

Almost the perfect Trail Running Shoe…

Great shoe!! Super comfortable and provides good support and great grip on rocky and steep hikes! Has lots of cushioning (even for big backs like me). It didn’t take long to break them in. However…Because my feet are wide and they don’t offer these in wide, I had to get a half size larger than what my feet are. This made coming downhill difficult because my feet kept sliding forward within the shoe. I got a case of hiker’s toe coming down Upper Yosemite Falls. So keep that in mind if your feet are wide. It’s a bummer. If not for this, it would be the perfect shoe for me.
