These are some of the best shoes you have NOT heard about!
These are great! I'm an ultra-runner with a few 100 miles under my belt and while slow, I do tend to put a lot of wear and tear on shoes and myself if the shoes are not doing their part. Here are the pros and cons after 30-40 miles in em including a mildly technical 16 mile effort.Pros:* Energy return of the midsole is great - especially with the rocker* Stability is excellent for a maxi-cushioned shoe. So far have not capsized* Traction is good* Cushioning is outstanding* Upper breathes really well and keeps dirt out* Tongue is more padded than most running shoes I own but not too heavyCons:* The geometry can be a bit unstable on steeper downhills - akin to getting catapulted by a carbon plate (which these don't have)* Toe box is a bit narrow* Stride feels a bit unnatural for mid to forefoot landings but salvageable* Seeing some wear on the rubber already - outsoles may not hold up
