Rigid sole.

The shoes is very nice and comportable while on the bike. But only in times where you need to walk and push your bike in the up hill, the sole is not flexible. It makes my heel slide on the shoes and makes it hot. But overall, it is very nice.

Low quality cleat nuts may strip if tightened to Shimano spec 5-6Nm

For comfortably and have good build quality EXCEPT at the cleat nut. The two outside holes of the left shoe cannot tolerate the cleat being torque to Shimano SPD specification 5-6Nm. The right shoe and the inside holes of the left shoe handles this torque just fine but these aforementioned holes are defective. I tried another cleat bolt and it also stripped the cleat nut.I also brought a pair of the older version of the Adidas Gravel shoe from Amazon and that one also had two bolts that refused to be torqued down to spec. Adidas is probably using garbage cleat nuts. If you are going to get this shoe, be warned that they may not be tightened to spec. 4Nm seems to be ok but if you are trying to get to 5Nm as Shimano recommends, this nut may strip. And to be clear, I am using authentic Shimano SPD cleats and the included bolts. Now why do I torque it down this much? Well the cleat slips otherwise.Definitely will return this for being defective and go to another brand.Edit: Ended up buying a pair of Shimano SH-RX600s which allows me to torque the cleats down just fine.
