Arguably the Best Running Shoe Around
Just a fantastic running shoe. The fit is comfortable and supportive without being too restrictive. I have a size 9 foot, but in saucony and nike I take a size 9.5. These adidas are no different. If you plan on running in them, you should go up 1/2 size. I'm 5'10, 190 lbs, middle aged guy and have been running pretty consistently for about the past 5 years. I don't have a long history of running but a few years back i did grind out a 50k trail run. It wasn't pretty. Now though, I only go about 15-18 miles per week. I haven't had any knee problems from running, but I do have high arched feet with some supination (foot rolls outward) and my feet get pretty sore at about 5 miles. Not with these shoes though. I've only taken them out twice so far, once for 5 miles and again for 4.5. The temps were in the low 40s and i was running on streets in and around the neighborhood. It's early on but as of now i can easily say they are the best running shoes I've ever used. In the past I've used Saucony Kinvara 3 & 5, Altra Olympus, Brooks Glycerin 10, Sketchers Go Ride, and Nike Glides. None of them worked as well for me as these Adidas Supernova. They have good cushioning and are supportive while maintaining their neutral (non-correcting w/ some flexiblity) feeling, which allows my foot to move freely and naturally. The toe box is adequate and did not constrict my forefoot at all - but I did go up 1/2 a size. They're not mushy like Sketchers, they're more supportive than the Saucony, and fit better on/around the foot than the Altra. My legs felt pretty good after the runs. They have a nice spring to them w/out being too firm and hard on the soles of my feet. No hot spots on top or bottom of my feet either. Overall, in my opinion and for my needs, they're the best running shoe around. Remember however, opinions on running shoes are very subjective, so I would say that you read this review while keeping in mind your own needs, abilities, and intended use. For me, I would recommend them highly and I plan on getting a second pair to use in a rotation with the first. Looking forward to checking out a trail version of this shoe (if one exists). If so, I'm going to give those a run too. Adidas has got it going on right now. So Adidas, please don't go making any big changes to your shoes and just keep up the good work.

Really Good Shoe!
Very comfortable shoe, not exactly light but very responsive. Interesting I just ran 7 miles on a treadmill with these this morning (first run in these) and my lower back is killing me. Not sure why, but I've had some issues with upper and lower back (arthritis) but it doesn't normally bother me (hurt). I put in between 20-30 miles a week and I've been doing this for over a year and have never had my lower back start to ache during and after a run. Not sure if it's the drop or what. Can't seem to find a definitive answer as to what the actual drop is, 10mm to 12mm is what I've found. The highest drop of all the shoes I have (too many) is 9mm and that's the Mizuno Wave Hitogami 2, which I just happen to really like. The heaviest is my Asics 33FA which is 10.8 ounces and they are my least favorite. I'm also a size 11.5 US.So I guess I can say for me a lighter shoe (Skechers GoMeb Run 3, Nike Free Flynit 4.0) as well as a lower drop is a shoe I prefer. I also own shoes by Pearl Izumi, Atra in addition to the others mentioned. I purchased this shoe based on reviews (opinions) of people and the likes of RW, Solerun and a host of others and they seem to like this shoe. I purchased 2 pair and I think one pair is going back as I can't see myself going to this shoe for nothing but 5k recovery runs, which I don't do a lot of as most of my training runs are 6.2 or more miles and I'm training mainly in my zone 2 (lower heart rate).2/22/17: Gotta update this. I've run a couple of more sessions outdoors with these and have to say that my whole opinion about these shoes have changed. I did a fartlek and tempo run outdoors (6 miles)in these today 2/22/17 and man these things were great. I really didn't even notice I had them on. As for my back, these shoes didn't bother it at all. These are very responsive and it seems like the harder I ran the better they felt. Guess I had to get used to the shoe and got to involved with drop and weight. These are definitely in the rotation.

Pretty decent adidas. - good and skate-able
These match a lot of my style. They go with most out fits, be it casual or dress. Also, These are my go to skateboard shoes. They have some class to the them. At the same time, they can take a beating without showing a lot of scuff. I will mostly likely buy this pair again after I skate these out.. Solid shoes. Comfortable. They pop, but they aren't so flashy that they get you robbed. So they are an all around good shoe, if you ask me. The material these are made out of grips the grip-tape nicely , as well. For standing. And I mean, I'm kick flipping a little higher with these too. Good weight to them.

Nice all around shoes - sizes run a bit small
Got these recently because I had an out of state business conference and needed some new walking shoes (was in and out of O'Hare 2x and if you've been there you know it's a HUGE airport and you WILL do a lot of walking).I've been wearing these daily for about 45 days now and am very pleased. They've broken in nicely and are quite comfortable. That said I do recommend these. I also have a pair of Timberland Men's Disruptor Oxford Alloy Safety Toe shoes I've been wearing for a year but they are primarily for riding my motorcycles although I do wear them fairly regularly, and that pair is also very comfortable and lightweight.I mention this other pair in comparison of comfort and SIZING! Both are very comfortable and can be worn 8-10 hours without any foot fatigue. BUT - sizing is quite different in that Timberland's shoes typically size spot on whereas Adidas seem to be a bit undersized. I wear a wide 12 and have flat feet. I had to get a 12.5 Adidas (luckily before my trip I was able to replace the Adidas 12's with 12.5) which fit quite well.So- after having said all that -- Great shoe, very comfortable and durable - but consider buying at least a half-size larger than what you would normally purchase and you should be good to go.
