I am a huge fan of Ah-di-das. These particular ones are true to size, very comfortable for a days work, all day at the amusement park and they got me through the Bronx Zoo. I slip my feet right into them. No sitting down or bending over. No tieing and untieing and for the price... You can't beat that if they begged you to! (The photo)They have walked a hundred miles since January, they're not worn out at all!
Love these. The insert is easy to remove and I replaced it with an athletic insert as the insert that comes with the shoe is very, very thin. The shoes comes with a two pairs of laces and I really like the thick laces that are pre-laced with the shoe - gives it an edgy look. The fit is true to size with the insert I added (Superfeet brand). The shoe looks great on big feet - especially as I have big feet on a petite body.... and I will be wearing them as a travel shoe...not sure how some one would use these for running unless they did not want support on their foot (a barefoot feel). I did not have any issue with the shoe looking "lumpy" . I have worn these with my Newzill compression socks for even more support and the shoes does really well with the socks. They are super comfortable on the elliptical machine working out. I ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfectly... in general a shoe should have about a 1/4-1/2 inch of space between your toes and the end of the shoe and many people wear their shoes too small not knowing their toes need room to "wiggle". I learned this while selling shoes at one point in my life.
The look of the shoe is nice. I love the colors and the shoe strings are flat and wider which is different but I like them. I have worn Adidas for years. This one is more feels more narrow and runs a bit smaller in size. I usually wear a 9.5 regular fit and have plenty of room. This time I bought a 10 just to be on the safe side and it’s a good thing. They are comfortable, lightweight and seem to be well made. Hopefully I will get them broke in soon. It seems like they may have had a shoe rod in them which made the inner back that rests on the back if the heel feel V shaped.
So, I'm not a sneaker person AT ALL, but walking my dog in ballerina flats just wasn't cutting it anymore, so I thought I'd invest in some sneakers. This sneakers went so far beyond my expectations, I wear them around for fashion now, too! First, these are SO comfy. Maybe I think that just because I never really wear sneakers, but I'm pretty obsessed with how my feet feel in these. I can go an entire day on my feet in these shoes. Second, they are stylish. I've always hated sneakers because I think they are bulky, but this shoe is slim, sleek, and stylish. The fit is perfect, the shoe covers a no-show sock really well. It can be a little tough to get the shoe on at first because the tongue is attached to the shoe, but you get used to it pretty fast. The shoe comes with two kinds of laces - one thick, flat lace and one normal lace - so you can choose what suits you best.Highly recommend this shoe for anyone. This is a comfortable, stylish option that managed to convert even me into a sneaker fan - and that's no small feat.
I have purchased several pairs of Luxe Edge Adidas over the years, usually the black ones with the leopard edge on the sole (which, sadly, i can no longer find). Love those so much, and decided to try the blue ones since they were on sale. The blue ones fit much differently: the tongue/slip-in aspect of the black ones is smooth and doesn't rub, where the blue ones have a loose tongue at the very top that doesn't stay put and ends up getting painful as a result; overall fit is much narrower, and this is from someone with narrow feet, so I had to really loosen the laces to walk comfortably; the heel on the blue goes up much higher, and the dip in the back tends to dig in. Plus is the sole is still bouncy and comfortable, and they look nice on. I think they'll break in and stretch out a little with time, and since I cant return them I'm wearing them in short spurts to get that to happen, but they are FAR from comfy out of the box.
These sneakers are one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever bought! I’ve switched from Nike to Adidas for good...better design and quality(from my point of view). The fit is awesome, I’m usually a size 10 — but I always had to purchase an 11 with Nike because of the tight fit around toes...so based on previous reviews (about the sizing being a little off), I ordered a size 10 in these and so happy I did! The design makes my feet look smaller too (big plus in my book) Also, it feels like every part of my feet is precisely cushioned—I feel so confident when wearing these out!
