Fantastic lightweight hiking shoes, with great support and waterproof Gore-Tex!
I bought these for my wife 2 weeks before we went on a 17 day RV road trip through most of Northern California with lots of aggressive hiking. Her Merrells that we bought last year for a similar trip just we're too heavy and rigid for her. We hiked up Haleakala a couple weeks ago and she wore her running shoes and did not have enough support and her feet really hurt. So I bought her these Adidas Terrex.We live on a large property, so she was able to walk up and down our property for the two weeks before our trip to break these Terrex in and thought they were nice. Once we actually started to use them for real hikes, she absolutely love them. Our first hike was a stroll in the Shasta area and she found them very comfortable. A couple days later we hiked around Lassen and she found them to be extremely comfortable and supportive, and better yet we ended up having rain and some hail and they kept her feet nice and dry.Several hikes later, including some very challenging hikes in the Yosemite high country, and even some strolls through Yosemite Valley, she said she just loves the shoes & that they're super comfortable, offered her great support, and fit her true to size. Her feet never hurt and she never had any blister issues. Highly recommended, so I even bought the men's model for me which I feel equally as affectionate about. No longer wearing my Merrell's or my Asics Ventures. We both love these.
