I got these for the main purpose of mowing my yard which is on a pretty steep hill. They fit perfectly in my normal size and feel very comfortable and stable. The quality is great and they should last for a long time.
I really like these, true to size & very comfortable for a cheaper, quality hiking boot. I took the advice of others & bought some insoles that really added a bit of softness. They look great also! Happy that I bought the boots!
I’ve used these shoes for over a year now. I work at a music venue and also do cave tours during the week at the same place. Super comfortable and durable. Even after using for a year, they have no holes or wear and tear. Before buying these I wore lower cute shoes, and my ankles would swell up after every show. (A lot of walking up and down hill) Since using these I have no issues!
This is a decent boot. The style is nice and it even almost looks fashionable. I bought it for hybrid use--moderate distance hiking and tactical training. It's suitable for both. It is not the most comfortable boot out of the box, but it is better than most. You'll have to do a little breaking in (especially the ankle shaft and toe box where the fabric is stiff), but nothing really painful. The stiffness softens up pretty quickly (almost like a sneaker). The tongue lays down well, and I have noticed no pinching at all. The toe box is on the larger side and comfortable. The boot laces up really tight (if you want) and effortlessly. I LOVE the tread. I love the light weight and water resistance. My one real complaint is the insole. It's awful, but it is removable. Toss it and use something you like instead (I use Sole Lab insoles for running shoes). This boot definitely runs large. Size down a half size. Recommend.
They are light weight. I like that very much. Quality is great. Its a good price. The fit is good. I would have preferred to have a wide width to be more comfortable, but it's a good fit
