I have been searching high-and-low for a pair of black Adidas running shoes with black soles. Before these, I could not find them and settled for an all-gray pair of Edge Lux 3s (not a fan of the look of the 4s).They were very comfortable, though lacking in arch support, which is the reason for which I am loyal to Adidas. They seemed to be more of the “Athleisure” persuasion.Alas, I found these! They have a simple, streamlined look and are appropriate for jogging, walking, and light exercise. I have to test them out to see how well they hold up to a good sprint.Though these cost a pretty penny, compared to similar models, they are worth it.For reference, I purchased a size 5.5, which is pretty typical for me for Adidas running shoes. I wear anything from a 5.5 - 6.5 in other shoes and boots, and once had some Nikes in a 6z
I bought these for long days on my feet working at a restaurant. They are breathable, lightweight, and have just enough support. I bought my usual size 10 and they fit just right. They make my feet look a bit big as compared to other sneakers I've had but they are comfy so I don't mind! I like that the soles are very grippy too!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. It feels as though you are walking on a cloud. The heel support is like no other. The shoe itself is a bit heavier than my Nikes which did take about a day of wearing them full time to get used to, but well worth it. I almost didn't buy them because of the price, but do not let that scare you away. After this purchase you will not need another pair of tennis shoes. In most tennis shoes I wear a kids size 3 and I purchased the womens 5 in these shoes and they fit perfect.
This is my second pair of Ultraboost and they feel as comfy, if not more comfier than the Ultraboost 4.0. I was able to walk around the trails with these without feeling fatigued. The only slight issue I have with the Ultraboost 20s that I don’t have with the 4.0s is that I can’t slip the 20s on as easily since they’re more of a snug fit, but that’s a more of a “me” problem!
I know this model of the Adidas ultra boost is old however I cannot stand the shoes these days with huge soles that look like old ppl shape ups-so ugly. Plus I have a wide foot and Adidas caters to people with wide feet. Will continue to buy these until the shoe manufacturers start coming out with better looking shoes or I can no longer find these in stock anywhere. Also one last thing to note, I work out at OTF and big sole shoes do not fit in the rower.
