I RECEIVED THIS ITEM AND I LOVE IT. IT FITS GREAT AND IS SO MUCH PRETTIER THEN THE PICTURE SHOWS IT. I JUST WISH THE SOLE WAS THICKER SO I COULD WEAR THEM IN THE SUMMER AS A REGULAR SANDEL BUT FOR MY PART OF THE COSTUME THEY ARE GREAT I LOVE THEM!!!
These sandals are complete garbage and should be $1. I read mixed reviews on them, but since they were only for one night, I though they couldn't be that bad for a few hours of use. Turns out, I was wrong! I wore them for 3 hours before the straps ripped off of the sole, and I was left without a sandal. I had to duck tape the whole sandal, which looked horrible, but at least I wasn't barefoot the rest of the night. Also, the straps dont stay up, the sizing is off and they are super thin and flimsy. DO NOT BUY!
Sandals are very cheaply made and the strings do not stay up. My daughter used it all but 20 minutes before the straps fell off. The shoes are like wearing pedicure slippers. Super thin and can feel everything on the ground. Not suitable for a Halloween costumer if you're going to a party or Trick or Treating.
Shoes are cute but the laces did not stay up on the legs.
These are perfect. They do have a tendency to fall down after a while, but were great for my Halloween costume!
These are terrible! We bought them for a play for my daughter and thought they didn’t need to be best quality for a one time use, but these didn't even last one time! They broke in five places, and we had to staple them to get through the play. Also, they wouldn’t stay up, even with garment tape.
So, pros of these shoes: low cost, great detail, the covering on the board soles was solidly put together and after walking around a convention for hours was not bent, ripped, coming apart, nor did my feet hurt, the laces are really nice quality and the leaves securely attached: tying a box knot in them was easy and let them lay untwisted. The pieces the laces go through were secure as well.Cons: the pieces the laces go through were difficult to place because of the length of them and they are not adjustable. Tying them was challenging and we learned that you need to make sure to space the cross points to reach the tying point just under the back of the knee. As you walk, your foot will slide on the board sole, especially on inclines. If your shoe isn’t secured just right, it will soon be coming off. I tried a couple different adjustments and ended up using double sided tape to keep the lace holding pieces in place on my foot and at each cross point to keep those secure. As well as the top wrap. That worked and I was able to walk around and not have to stop often to fix the shoes. I will be better prepared next time I wear them.Overall, I can wear them again because the quality held up. And they are great for a photo shoot or party where you won’t be walking as much. I would still recommend securing them to your legs or stockings though.
