I expected them to run extra large in the shaft of the boot due to the reviews I read. I have large calves and although I don't normally purchase long boots, the reviews on this made me think that they would be perfect for me. not the case. The shafts are larger than normal boots but they were still a bit small for my calves so unfortunately they don't work. They are beautiful boots and I love the quality and workmanship on these. If the shaft was just a bit larger I would be in LOVE!!!

Way too big if you have smaller calves. Material not as expected

These boots were unfortunately too big for my calves. For reference, my calves measures about 13.75 inches in circumference. These boots felt larger than the 15.50 inches in the description. Also. The material didn’t feel like leather. It felt synthetic and cheap. I was hoping this was going to work as I have been looking for tall boots.
