It’s all leather and very comfortable
I loved Airwalks as a kid in the 90s. I was sad when I couldn't find them anymore in the early mid 2000s. It's funny that they switched from. Skateboard shoes to work shoes. Anywho, I ordered these for work in a food starch modifying plant. These are so much better that the other pair of safety shoes I have. I will definitely be ordering a pair of every style of Airwalks.
I have 2 Skechers composite toe boots that I love in 8 Wide. I'm usually 8.5 with regular shoes, but boots seem to vary, usually an 8W is best. I took a gamble with these since they offered wide, but the toe box was still very narrow. Very disappointed. Returned.
Says they're available in wide widths. They are not. I ordered 2 pairs in wide. Both times I got regular sizes. If they're wide the size states "wide" or "extra wide" on the box and tongue of the shoe. These said "medium" on the box and just the shoe size no width on the tongue. They also aren't as wide as the other pair of Airwalks I bought the same day.
Durable super comfortable I walk 10 hours a day mostly on wet concrete I've never slipped the bottoms are designed for traction on slippery surfaces my feet never been wet in them I'm hard on shoes at work but I wear these alot of the time at home instead of my Jordans theyre hella more comfortable spend the money you won't regret it handsdown best shoes I've ever purchased
First, I consider D to be fairly standard for mens shoes. However, Airwalk considers a D a wide shoe. I wish I knew that in advance. So this shoe they call a medium, which is actually narrow in my book (and probably to most people). I would call this a B or C width. My other comment is that they seem expensive. In fact this is about twice as much as what I expected Airwalks to be. Maybe the special features (electrical hazard & slip resistance) add to the expense? I don't know. I have a pair of Merrell low cut work boots that are OSHA approved (EH, electrical hazard) - in my book Merrell is top of the line, and they were significantly less expensive than these.Still though this is a nice shoe. If the narrow width is ok with you, I don't have any complaints at all about the shoe. Airwalks have always made nice shoes. Sturdy construction and comfortable. They're breathable, have a real leather upper, and are just well done. Keep in mind, they have a flat sole, so they're really intended for work (mostly standing or walking on flat surfaces), not for exercise.
This shoes are so comfortable for working shifts of 8 hours plus.
