Very affordable and comfortable with plenty enough room
There not my air Max's but are more comfortable with all 6 of my braces on my body and are very comfortable and wide enough for my feet and the 2 braces that are on my foot & Ankle, when my brace company said I needed to get orthopedic shoes I thought of the big black ones with the big Velcro straps lol and these are far from those shoes and I highly recommend anyone who needs a decent nice pair that are incredibly affordable and very comfortable to try these out ,I might buy the black ones next!

This sneaker/walking shoe is built for comfort and for those who need it, it is assistive
I'm a physical kind of guy, and one of the things I like to do is go for a run 3 days a week. When I do that, I wear running sneakers that are very expensive and specifically designed for runners. Those are definitely not going to be my everyday walking around or lounging sneakers. That's why this new sneaker/walking shoe, caught my attention. One might initially overlook this item because it is described as "Diabetic Orthopedic Sneakers for Plantar Fasciitis". I do not have Plantar Fasciitis. However, I was looking for a very good quality, comfortable, lightweight and well made sneaker/walking shoe. My logic was that if these shoes were manufactured in order to be as comfortable and corrective (with regard to taking a step) as described, they could certainly benefit the average individual looking for comfort and a reliable, correctly manufactured footbed, to prevent the possibility of soreness or an injury. These shoes are made well. The tops are of an extremely lightweight knit material, which is highly breathable and cooling to the foot. The laces are thick and chunky, and when pulled tightly, the entire body of the shoe tightens and encapsulates around the foot quite comfortably. Overall, the shoes are rather light in weight. The footbed itself was the reason that I chose these walking shoes, it consists of a very comfortable inner lining, a shock absorber in the heel, a separate arch support, and the footbed is comprised of memory foam. Also one should mention that there is a preventative slip guard on the bottom of the shoe, at the toe. All in, this sneaker/walking shoe, is built for comfort and for those who need it, it is assistive, in terms of the way your foot is nestled within and resting on a footbed, which will assist you in walking comfortably and properly. I chose the black and I think they are attractive for what they are. Interestingly, the one odd thing that I would say I have noticed is that they are not consistent with regard to the way the shoe is manufactured in terms of sizing. *I have no such issue with what I received, the shoes fit me well*. However, I did notice that my pair is running wide and slightly larger than the size I had ordered. I do not personally view this as an issue, I always order my shoes and sneakers in a wide size, if it is available. The fact that they are slightly larger than I would have expected is with regard to the length in the toe area. I am intentionally using the word slight, because I do not believe that it is negatively affecting my ability to walk comfortably and correctly in these shoes. Additionally, I would say that the extra small bit of room in the front allows my toes to splay more easily and comfortably. I am simply making note of it, as this may be of consequence to other purchasers in the future. The reason I make mention of the fact that I believe they are inconsistent is, if you read other reviews, some people claim the shoe runs large while others claim the shoe runs small. Like Goldilocks, I was fortunate in that my shoes are fitting me, "just right".Considering this is an assistive, corrective, walking shoe/sneaker, I believe it is a quality shoe at a reasonable price. I also find them to be rather attractive in the black, as they will match anything and are rather nondescript.

Nice Lightweight Walking Shoe With Evenly Distributed Ground Contact
I have difficulty finding shoes that fit and are good walkers so I wanted to try something different. These have a great look on the outside, and are comfortable on the inside when walking, and that is the main reason for the good review. I can wear them for long periods without pain. Not all 'orthopedic' shoes are designed the same. Most assume you need a huge arch for 'support' but in some cases that is not what your particular foot needs. In fact, according to biomechanical research, too much arch support actually weakens the muscles in the foot that give your foot natural support. This means, most shoes actually weaken your foot support even if you are buying expensive orthopedic style shoes. In my opinion, these shoes are designed a little differently than other 'orthopedic' style shoes because these have more of a flat insole which provides a more even contact pressure to the ground, just as the ad says in the description. Not everyone has the same foot issues so you would have to know (likely from an experienced podiatrist) what type of orthopedic would work best for your individual case. But in my case, I am very flat footed and even orthopedic shoes with huge arch support will hurt my feet over a span of several hours. It's all about about finding a shoe you can stay in longer without, or at least with reduced pain. These seem to work well in that regard for me.I love the styling and the lightweight design. The construction quality seems good and the breathability is fantastic. So, for my specific case, these are the pros and cons...Pros -LightweightBreathableMore even ground contact pressureVery nice design (stylish)Good construction qualityNot as expensive as other orthopedic shoesThe color/s go well with most of my outfitsVery comfortable for walkingCons -A little expensive for a budget shoe (but definitely not as far as most orthopedics are concerned). So, in my opinion these are definitely worth giving a try. According to research, nothing is really better than going barefoot, but we can't always do that lol. These are a nice option when you want a simple ortho with good ground contact to let your feet and body know how much step pressure to apply in your gait. As a long distance hiker, I honestly think these would be a good trail option, although I have not tested them on trail as of yet. (Experienced hikers know a running style shoe is far better than a heavy boot that restricts ankle movement). For me, these are my go to walking the dog around the block or for standing long periods of time at an event.Recommended! Definitely worth giving these a try!----As a side note, I had an ordering mistake, and the seller was extremely helpful and courteous in making sure I got the right size. They actually reached out to me based on my original (partial) review. I couldn't have asked for better customer service and that means a lot in this day and age.
