I’m on my second pair because I wear them to death. They’re my everyday work shoe, that’s how comfy they are as someone who has wide feet. But then again I do sit for most of my work days. Even so, they are too high but also not a kitten heel.

I kept these in black and tan. A little tight at toe box, but not bad and worth the money.
Here's the thing about brands that we know, we have certain expectations for them. We over time expect that they will continue to produce products of similar quality, size, price range, fit and so on. These check the box on all that. They fit exactly as they should. They are comfortable as I would expect a shoe for this price point to be. They are well made. They look good. They have subtle detail that the sagacious (discerning) shoe lover will notice. Typically, your shoes follow a set pattern. You either have a blocked style toe and the rest of the shoe follows that style or you have a pointed\rounded toe and the shoe follows that. Here they broke with traditional design. You have the pointed toe for the typical black pump look, then where you would expect the top of the shoe for the toe box to have a round seam as most styles dictate, they broke away from the pack and squared the seam as well as the heel. These are not overt in your face design choices like pink rhinestones but subtle choices that only keen observers will notice. They still fall within that simple classic look that goes with everything. So, if you are looking to update your style but unsure how to go about it, these are a good choice. If you have to stick to a (ugh) dress code these subtle touches may help, you will feel like you're still keeping (some of) your own. If you are like me and have 800 black pumps because you can't have too many and every outfit needs a different kind then, yes you need this one.
