They are better than I hoped
I bought these shoes for a cruise, mostly for the island destinations. I found them to be comfortable, light, and great for walking. To prevent possible blisters I wore with socks, until I was on the beach or water areas. Without socks my feet did get a bit uncomfortable after a lot of walking. They dried quickly after getting wet. I like the style and quality. I played several games of volleyball in them on hard surface, and they were okay but there is not much lateral support being a water shoe, which is expected as they are not intended for that use. The sole seems to be holding up well to walking on hot concrete surfaces. Fit was correct to my shoe size.

I haven't had these very long. They are nicely made, very comfortable and look nice. This brand is wider and roomier for the toes than other brands I have tried. Hopefully, they will prove to be durable too. I will wear them a lot for out & about and travel. I like water shoes not just for the water, but because they are lightweight, let my feet breathe, easy to clean in the washer and easy to pack. Update: I've been wearing this brand and model shoe for years now. I am very happy with them. These are one of the few that also come in larger sizes for men. The only minor change i would make is having fewer and smaller holes in the sole as small stones can wedge in the current ones.

Aquaman and The Deep's Preferred Footwear ("Allegedly")
I wear a Men's size 12 US in medium width (the standard). These shoes are great. Very sturdy and comfortable. I am in or around the water almost everyday. I've worn them walking on a mud bottom, sand bottom, stony bottom and in pools. I've even worn them out (as they look very much like regular shoes) if I just got out of the water or will be going in the water.These are my second pair. Let's make it clear why I bought a second pair. The kid (12) couldn't find his water shoes one day and he wears a 9. I told him to wear mine to go out in the water. Needless to say, he got one stuck in the mud and couldn't find it. So I liked them well enough to buy the EXACT same size, brand, and model.Pros: Great fit, great water drainage, comfortableCons: (Not really a con, just be aware) Sometimes rocks, acorns, etc. will get caught in the holes in the sole. No big deal, just informing so you don't walk in the house with them and scratch your tile floor or antyhing like that.Second (Not the company's fault. Just a fact of life.) If you walk around with these in the sand or use them at the beach, you WILL get sand in them. There is an insole in them for comfort so you're not walking around on the large holes in the sole. Because of this it is harder for the sand to get out with the insole in them. Even if you take the insole out (I wouldn't) the fine mesh covering the large sole holes wouldn't allow the sand to just "flow" out.I personally haven't found a pair of water shoes that does any better with sand, and as I stated, I liked these so much I bought a second pair without hesitation after the kid lost one of mine.

Great shoes
I bought a pair in Gray for myself and showed them to my son when they came in. He liked them visually enough to want a pair of his own so I ordered a pair for him as well. Both were purchased to use for our cruise as I wanted something that looked like a regular shoe so I could wear it walking around the ship or downtown on our stops as well as on the pool deck or on the excursions where they would get wet. These were way more comfortable than I expected and look a lot like a regular pair of name brand running shoes that I own. The water flows right out of them through the holes in the bottom and they take minimal time to dry. I would typically wear them all day long getting them wet on and off and when I got out of the pool I would put them right on while my feet were still wet. All I needed to do was leave them out on the balcony for a few hours and they would be dry enough to wear again to walk around the ship. I live in a beach town too and plan to wear them to the beach instead of flip flops so that I feel comfortable going into a decent restaurant. Again, I did quite a bit of walking in them and have a bad back and bad ankle and I had no problems walking all day in them on multiple occasions. The only potential negative is that if you are wearing them walking around town and you hit a puddle, the bottom of your feet will get wet as the water will come in from the sole. Also, sand and small rocks would get in them, but that is the same with any shoe that you wear to the beach or in the water. They were easy enough to slide off, dump out, and put right back on again. A friend of mine recently bought the Nike version and these look about the same, if not better and he paid nearly $60 from an outlet. I got 2 pairs for considerably less. Definitely recommend and will purchase a replacement pair when/if I wear these out. For the price, they can't be beat!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was good, the quality is good. I felt safer using these at the boat ramp in which I have fallen at and slipped. The water recede quickly as well. It got 3 stars because there is not half sizes. It also eats away at my heal so have to fold the back down. I am thinking of cutting out that area but it might not work after or stay on
