Alegria's are not Alegria's anymore

I have a lot of Alegria shoes, and they all fit great and they are very comfortable. When I saw these sandals, I wanted a closed toe style and thought that being Alegria's, that they would fit great. They are very uncomfortable after wearing for over 2 hours, and they are heavy when lifting your feet to walk. I have had some issues with some of my Alegria shoes, they are melting at the bottom and collecting stones, dirt and leaving marks on the floors. Not these ones, but I have 48 pairs, and at least 7 pairs are soft and gummy on the bottom, some are less than 3 years old. I reached out to Alegriashoes.com and they offered no way to fix them, other than giving me a 20% discount. I feel there should be a solution to the problem, if the problem exists.

Best Sandal Ever for Big Toe Arthritis, Hallux Rigidus / Limitus

The Alegria Ingrid Fisherman-style sandal is the most comfortable sandal I have worn in years! They have a stiff rocker sole platform sole that keeps all the movement from my big toe! An unbelievable relief to have these sandals with a roomy toe box and cushiony insole and adjustable Velcro strap that stays put. I have the black size 40, true to size. I have worn them non-stop for a week now. They are even more comfortable than my Alegria Paloma MJs. It is nearly impossible to find shoes that I can walk pain free with my big toe arthritis; the Alegria Ingrid sandals are comfort magic! Plus they are cute and can go with any outfit. The heel height is 1.75" and not noticeable. (The only other shoe I can wear for almost pain free walking is the Hoka Clifton 9). These shoes are comfort!!!

Sizing if off!

I need a pair of leather closed-toe sandals, and these seemed like the perfect choice. They are nice looking, but they are too wide, and the heel straps are too loose. There is no way to adjust them to make them snugger. My heels were literally popping out of the shoes. I had to return them. I own several pairs of Alegria shoes and have never had a problem with sizing, so I was surprised that these were so off. I ordered them in both brown and black. The brown pair hasn't arrived yet but I'm hoping that it's a better fit.
