Beautiful and comfortable; no squeaks!
What beautiful red leather. At last I've found my proper size, and my beloved Palomas are stocked up again! I hate to think of having to go without these superbly comfortable footbeds, plus the funky Mary Jane style that always gets compliments. I know they are bulky, but, Yay! bulky is IN! I've been wearing Palomas for years. The recently manufactured ones are quiet. They killed the squeak! Thank you Alegria! You can go on an all day walking tour and these shoes will be your friend. Such wonderful arch support and great toe room. A+++ I ordered a size 9 though my recommended size was 8.5, and they are just great-- room for socks. Soles are not slippery.

Great shoe for fit, comfort, style, support
This is an amazing shoe for design, style, and comfort. The wide is truly wide especially in the front foot area where I have a bunion. I was able to put the shoe on and walk in it for 2 miles immediately with absolutely no discomfort. It has great structure and appears very well made. I have been searching for a maryjane style which looks fashionable and has good support and this is it. I love that the shoe can be worn on both casual and dressy occasions.

My second pair. Exact same shoes! love the comfort
my favorite shoes for work. great wide toe box and deep inserts for support. these never hurt my feet. However they are not good for uneven/outdoor walking. Insoles are replaceable. These are my 2nd pair exactly the same as last ones that I wore out over about 5 years.

These shoes are amazing. I had a broken toe and got these for to replace the hard post-op shoe in my third week of recovery. They are nice and stiff. I wasn't ready for the rocking of the toe yet, but my ChatGPT advised me to lean back on my heels a bit more instead of leaning forward on my toes. That did the trick. I also got orthopedic sneakers but those had too much flex and these were far more comfortable. I thought I was going to need to get an additional foot bed/insole since one foot was swollen and one foot wasn't, but actually both feet felt fine with both foot beds. Still I think it's quite clever to have the option to change the fit that way if you need to.I bought the floral blue because it was fun and I thought hey--I've been wearing an ugly post op shoe, why not wear a loud maximalist floral shoe that brings me joy? I might get a more neutral color too because these shoes are actually just great shoes to have even after I recover. I have high arches so the width is actually kind of nice.
