Cute Sandal with built in arch and foot support
I bought these both in red and black from Amazon due to quick delivery and from another on line store in the natural as Amazon didn’t have my size. I have to wear a rocker bottom shoe and Algeria’s have many styles that have them. These are very comfortable and only come in one width. These run a bit wide, but as with most Algeria’s they have the hook and loop closure. So you can adjust them. They are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours. They have a built in arch support. I never need anything extra to support my feet. I highly recommend these sandals, especially if you live in a year round warm climate. Or wear for the next few months, clean them off (bottom of shoe dirt, etc) and put them away for next spring and summer. I highly recommend these sandals from Algeria.

A bit wide
They looked cute in the pictures; on my foot, they looked super-clunky. My feet are slightly narrower than a true medium, so I only buy shoes with velcro adjustments. I also wear Alegria shoes almost exclusively. Re this shoe, although I measured the width of the insole, the straps were too loose to begin with so the shoe felt wider than normal. I had to adjust the velcro straps as far as they could go to tighten enough to stay on my feet. Of course, that made the straps stick out the sides like wings - not a good look. Nevertheless, for a comfy platform shoe, I'd still recommend these, especially if you wear a true medium or wider shoe.

they are plastic
just received this pretty shoe. very disappointedthe raffia top does not look or smell like leather it is plastic. the whole shoe is plastic. very cute seem comfortable butthey are not leather . plastic does not breathe. they are sadly going bak

Slippery-Feeling Insole; Crinkle Straps May Irritate Top Of Foot
These sandals are very pretty. However, they have a slippery feel on the insole. This might go away after the shoes are worn for awhile, but I don't know. They didn't seem as bad after I adjusted the straps tighter to make my foot secure. However, then one shoe seemed to mildly irritate the top of my foot. I think it was the crinkles in the design. It will probably get worse, not better, over time, so I have decided to return these. On the positive side, besides the flattering and dressy look, the insole fit my food and felt great, just like my other Alegria shoes and sandals. Hopefully when next year's styles come out I can find a new pair of dressy Alegria sandals.
