They are comfortable and supportive. They stay tied. I wore them for the whole 12 hour shift first time and felt great. I would buy these again. They have enough arch support for me. Fit great, true to size. I like they way the look.
I love the colors that are available, and I really like the appearance of these sneakers. They are trendy, attractive and can easily be made into slipons. That feature is worth an added star in my review because I do not find them the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn!!!!Most of this brand shoes have funny sizing…..either a bit too short….or longer than need be!!!! Their sneakers are now available in sizes that work best for those of us who frequently cannot find a good fit in this brand. I wear a 7 ½ size in many brands, but the 7-7.5 in Alegria is a bit short, and the next size is 8-8.5 which is too long. These sneakers; however, are offered in both a 7.5 and 8. I opted for the 8, and it gives me very generous toe wiggle room; therefore, I would offer they are true to size.They are appealing, and have a two way adjustment closure with both zipper and ties. The zippers slide smoothly. The shoes appear to be well-made; however, that seems to be only the outside appearance. The seams, especially around the end of the zippers, causes sore toes and oodles of discomfort if one wishes to wear the shoes without socks. I am very disappointed with that humongous flaw, but I found that I can wear them fairly comfortably with socks.The arch support may be a bit much for those who prefer a low arch in their shoes.PROS:`Attractive`Two way adjustment with both a zipper and ties`Zipper slides smoothly`Soles are mark proof and skid proof`They are fairly quiet walking on hard floors`Removable arch supportCONS:`Need to be worn with socks`The inside seams are not finished smoothly….especially at the end of the zippers.`The heel width is too wide for narrow/skinny human foot heels! It’s short and my big toe hurts because it pushes against the tip of the shoe.
I love these shoes. So comfy and cute. I get comments about them whenever I wear them. I did size up a 1/2 size and their fit perfectly. Wore them for the first time the weekend of our big annual conference and they didn’t hurt my feet at all. I love Alegria shoes and this is the first pair of tennis shoes that have been amazing

Love these shoes. Made well and the arch is so comfortable, however, having worn Alegria shoes exclusively, Sz 8 1/2, for years, the fit with these isdisappointing. The toe box is short and narrow. I have returned several pair and re-ordered in hopes of getting a pair that fit right, even trying sz 9 that are too big. Going on a trip and counting on alegria to take me there😄
I purchased a pair for myself that I wore for the first time on a trip to the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Safari Park, walking around all the San Diego towns and airports. Four days later my feet felt amazing. My mom tried mine on and was instantly wow'd so I ordered these for her. My friend who traveled with me to SAN ordered a pair too. There's no breaking in. The lace allows you to adjust the width and the side zipper lets you just slip on and slip off. It has high quality arch support. And it's a beautiful shoe.
