I have about 20 pairs of Allen Edmunds from over the years. They are among the highest quality and style in my opinion. They are expensive, yes. They have a considerable break in time and i suggest thick socks for the first few weeks. But there is no denying the beauty and quality of the shoe. Im sure i will continue to purchase their products.
Good year welted boots, so they can be resoled, extending their life. Don't pay full price though; these can be had for closer to $200 if you are patient and shop around. Also check out the customer pics of the walnut color as it's different than the stock pictures shown. Beautiful, but different.
I wear a 12 in sneakers and 11.5 in boots and dress shoes. I ordered the 11.5 and I knew right away when I tried them on that they were a perfect fit. They look even better in person. I look forward to wearing these for many years.
i received my pair last night and i am in love. and they fit perfectly true to size. i noticed some reviews saying these are factory seconds - mine definitely are not. these are absolutely beautiful, no variations or scuffs or anything, they are perfect. what a great deal too. i can't wait to wear them.
I have several AE shoes. My size is 11EEE with 5th avenues. For these boots use 12D - 11EEEs are too short, while 12E or 11.5EE are too large.

The boot is good, haven't walked with it yet because thinking to return since it's $100 cheaper in their own website ! Why is that? Don't like the way they do business,
