Comfortable, good looking shoe
These shoes are well built, comfortable, and a great compliment to a business casual outfit. The leather is soft and pliable, and feels to be of real quality (as one would expect from a brand like AE). The bottom of the shoe appears to be leather, and provides good traction - making them suitable for extended lunch time walks.Please note that size seems to run a little narrow. I can wear most 10.5 D shoes comfortably with medium-thickness cotton socks, but found these to be a little snug in the toes and shaft of the foot. If you live in a climate where you must wear thicker socks, you may want to size up to an 11.

Defective product
Right shoe is malformed and bigger than the left. Sadly I did not realize it until the return window closed, so now I'm stuck with a defective pair of shoes. Amazon used to have a much better return policy. I will be shopping for shoes at actual stores from now on.

Great Loafers But A Little Narrow For Me
The picture doesn't do these loafers justice! The contrast stitching is subtle and the leather is soft with a low sheen finish. Very refined! Unfortunately I had to return them because the toe box is too snug for my feet, but I really did want to keep them!If you're looking for high quality loafers at this price point, look no further as long as you have narrow to medium width feet.
