Omg, these are so nice. These look amazing with a leather jacket and a pair of jeans. I have received nothing but compliments since the day I tried these on and wanted to share my positive experience.Order your normal size because the fit is spot on. These are sort of wide in the toe but most boots are like that and the fit is proper.These have held up very well to the winter elements and are extremely comfortable. I have stood many hours in them and I'm happy to report they really help battle the fatigue. The soles are somewhat non-slip but be careful because these are not true work boots.These are highly fashionable and stand out from the crowd. The price point may be a bit higher than some similar looks but the construction quality and brand reputation make this a great value for the money.

HIgh Fashion military (sort of) style

These are aggressive looking combat boots but they are more for style than for fighting. They are great for a night out because they are styled and are easy on the feet--unlike actual combat boots. YOu can wear these all night.The sole adds an inch or two to your height and provides the profile that you expect from combat boots. These are leather and the sole is giant but they are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable on. The side of the boot has a zipper which is functional but not gusseted as it would be in true work boots. These high fashion boots are not designed to get wet and wearing these in the rain will result in ruined shoes and wet socks. You wear these to the club or to dinner.The quality of construction is good--nice materials and beautifully finished.The brand is well known as fashion forward and as a quality seller.

Love These Boots But...

These are nicely made, tough looking boots meant to make a visual statement. They do that job well. Be aware of a couple things: they will add impressive height. Not just because of the heel itself but because of the design of the sole. It's a very aggressive stance. If you're looking for a low-profile appearance, these aren't the right boot. Secondly, they feel a bit snug in the width, which surprised me, but it was not uncomfortable after a breaking-in period. Still, if you have wide feet and are hard to fit in that area, these may not be the best choice.But if you can handle the fashion stance these boots offer, and the fit works for you, then they are a great choice and I highly recommend them.

Incredible, creative styling in a well made boot

These are boots you will first want to put on, and THEN select what you want to wear with them. They will determine your wardrobe, not the reverse. First, these are not "calf high" but go up over the ankle. The leather and fabric lining are made of top-quality materials. The rubber is thick, and everything is very well stitched. There is 1" thickness under the ball of the foot and 2" thickness under the heel in total adding 1.5" to your height.A couple of design features make these boots more comfortable to walk in. The notch between the laces on the upper and lower laces combined with the relatively thin rubber sole at the instep allows the foot bend naturally. These are not work boots, true combat boots, motorcycle boots, hard toe or rain boots. They are fashion for the sake of fashion boots that are well made and a classic. The size is accurate. Would be nice to have wide sizes, but you almost never see that with such styled shoes/boots.The boot overrides picky criticism and I give them a full 5 stars.
