Attractive style flat with extremely thin soles.

These flats are described as D'Orsay style, but actually have a closed side on the lateral part of each shoe, and an opening only on the medial side. They are still attractive, and the suede toe/smooth leather look composition is interesting and attractive. My main concern is that the soles are extremely thin, meaning they aren't particularly comfortable to walk in. Because of the one open side it isn't really possible to insert a cushioned insole or arch support, so I plan on wearing them only to events where I won't be doing much walking.

I legit think these are made out of cardboard. They are so thin and they will fall apart very quickly (I'm not being dramatic--it really feels like cardboard). They also make a weird sound when you walk because they put foam in the sole, which sounds like you're walking on foam, but not in a good way. I am repurposing these as house shoes until they fall apart (which could very well be next week).

So, if you wore it and walked over rocks or anything sharp/edgy then you would feel everything on your feet. Overall, it felt very cheap.
