Gets the job done while looking cute!

This books kept my feet dry as a can being during the recent New England wind and rain storms. There were no leaks and they kept everything dry. There is enough room to tuck your jeans into the boots to keep the hems dry. They are cute and I got so many complements on them! These boots are super comfortable and great quality.I would order half a size to a size bigger; they fit true to size but you could use some extra room for some thick, fuzzy socks.

The pattern is stretched out where it connects with the sole

These are comfortable. They are high quality and feel that way. Easy to slip on. I live in Texas and have snakes, spiders, FIRE ANTS and more running around my backyard and garden area. I am an herbalist and grow a lot of my own medicinal plants. And I am outside every day, watering, weeding, harvesting, planting, mowing my yard.2 weeks ago I was not thinking straight and mowed my lawn in sandals. I received over 3 dozen (no joke) fire ant bites all over my feet. I need to stop doing that. These boots are the result of that incident. They will protect me from fire ants, from snakes, from other bugs. They are comfortable and have a GREAT traction on the sole. Since I will be in mud sometimes, that is important.The only thing I have an issue with is the pattern is pretty stretched out toward the base of the bootie. It looks obvious in the photos below and in my pair that I received (which the photos are of). But in the listing, the photos maybe looked like the pattern is stretched only a teeny bit, and it isn't noticeable.Because these are a $70+ pair of boots, I would expect to have the pattern consistent throughout the whole bootie.Otherwise, the sizing is right on... no need to size up or size down. I wear a size 9 and these fit perfectly (size 9). I used to be a size 8.5 in most shoes, but since having foot surgery 8 months ago I am not quite ready to have my feet cramped in a shoe anymore. These booties do not cramp my feet.
