They're lightweight but still provide excellent support, making them ideal for both running and everyday training activities. One of the standout features is the wide toe box, as it allows your toes to spread naturally, which adds to the comfort and stability, especially on longer runs. The cushioning strikes a great balance, soft enough to absorb impact, yet firm enough to feel stable and responsive. Whether I’m doing short sprints or longer distances, my feet feel supported and less fatigued. I bought a pair for my wife as well and she absolutely loves them too. Great shoes for toe room
A very comfortable every day athletic shoe. I do not run. I would wear this type of shoe generally when traveling and doing a lot of walking. I feel that they are stylish enough to go with a pair of jeans or shorts, but I would not wear them with anything more dressy than that. I have many pairs of Altras, and despite some negative reviews about durability, I have not had any quality issues, with the exception of the Torin 5 model, which I had sole separation issues with on two separate pairs. Both were covered under warranty by Altra, which I was very pleased with.
