Excellent Shoes!

Great shoes, I feel better wearing these compared to my old shoes. I bought these to help with my runners knee and shin splints, so I feel that these have really held up and helped improve my injuries (in addition to physical therapy fyi.) I love that they are very sleek looking as well, which overall adds to how great these shoes are. They definitely make you feel like you're walking on air. I will say that shortly after wearing these for the first few times, it felt like my knees and shins were a little thrown off due to the shoes helping properly correct the injuries, so it took a short time to get used to them. But after wearing them some more, my knees and shins feel great whenever I put these on to go out (whether that be walking, jogging, running, or simply doing errands.) My physical therapist had suggested these specific shoes to buy, in addition to a couple others, but these ones stood out to me the most. I now know thanks to my physical therapist that an open toe box is probably the most ideal way to go in terms of foot wear, and these shoes get the job done. I would definitely buy these again for sure!

Best shoes for big and tall

I'm a big guy (6.5"/280lbs) who travels and these altras tend to be one of the few shoes I use all day walking 50k steps and not be in bad pain. The arch took a little to break in, but I prefer no arch support.I have 1 for running, gym, and all day wear.

Good walking shoes

Love Altra brand shoes. These are great for work. I don’t do a ton of walking through out the day but when I am on my feet, they are very cushioned and light. I don’t really feel them on my feet because they are so comfortable.

Good shoe tight fit

The shoe is definitely light weight, great cushioning. The shoe wasn’t wide enough for my foot so I’m having to break them in. The construction of the shoes seems to be solid and should hold up well. Time will tell

Comfortable Enough for Daily Use

I’ve been walking more lately, trying to keep my knees and back from acting up too much. My daughter talked me into trying these shoes, said they might help with how my feet land and how tight my toes get in my old sneakers. I wasn’t sure at first. They looked a bit odd, kind of bulky at the front, but once I got them on, they felt better than I thought. My toes had more space, like they weren’t jammed together, which made the walk to the corner store easier than usual. They don’t feel heavy either, which surprised me, and my heel didn’t ache like it usually does.I’ve used them for a few days now, nothing long, but enough to notice they push you forward a little when you’re stepping. It’s not bad, just different. I don’t care much about all the tech stuff they probably brag about, but my feet hurt less after using them. That’s good enough for me.
