Best shoe I've owned ever

I have been running all my life but recently started getting injured (getting old stinks). A friend suggested better shoes and these specifically. OHMYLAWD! so far so good. They feel incredible and are so light I'm actually running faster than before and my feet and knees do not hurt after a good 5 mile run like they did before these shoes. I want to buy them in every color and only wear these from now on. Go get a pair, or 5.

Zero-drop is amazing!

These are ugly when looking down at them from above... "toe shaped"... but for function, are awesome. Good cushining overall, but the zero-drop (no lift in the heel) makes my run and walk form better, reducing the heel strike that agitates my lumbar in other shoes. Very comfortable with the HUGE toe box, but still fits nice and snug everywhere else.

Excellent once you get used to them. Amazing toe box, too!

I bought these primarily for the large toe box and haven't been disappointed in them. They're very comfortable shoes. However, I had no experience with zero-drop, and it took me about a week or two of occasional use to fully adjust to that aspect. If you're not used to zero-drop shoes, I suggest taking it slow; You should also expect a bit of soreness along the way. There are a lot of guides out there on transitioning.

So far, so good

Followed other reviews and ordered 1/2 size up, fits well. I run on the treadmill and these feel great. Lots of toebox room, zero-drop with plenty of cush, simple lacing system, my heels stay put. Time will tell how these hold up - so far, so good.

Incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend

These shoes are great for running/walking. I live in a large city and downtown, I walk everywhere and these are the best pair of shoes I've ever owned for that. I had a pair of oncloud before these, now those shoes feel like walking on pieces of wood comparatively. My 1 knock against them, the side support on them isn't great. So if you plan to do anything that requires sharp changes in direction or pressure being put on the outer or inner sidewalls, you're going to come off the side of your sole. I would not recommend these for weight lifting.

Looks good, cushy sole

The shoes are well made, fit as expected and look good. If you want a soft sole these are for you. I would have given a 5 star rating but I need something with a little stiffer sole.

Good shoe, great zero drop shoe.

Good cushion, zero drop shoe. The cushion will wearout fairly fast but the shoe is solid. This is my third pair of Escalante, and these compare will to the others. They are light, durable and well ventilated.
