Best Shoe Ever?
Exceptional. I’ve been dealing with finding the right shoe for quite a while. I have extra wide feet and so getting the right fit with the best support is hard to come by. These shoes are it. The wide toe box and extra support in the shoe are what I’ve been looking for. They’re lightweight and have plenty of cushion. Altra as a whole has been supremely durable for me, which is saying a lot because I’m a big guy who is hard on shoes. I’ve never quite had a shoe that felt roomy and streamlined all at the same time but Altra has pulled it off. 11/10… 6 stars… highly recommend and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great for my low arch narrow feet but wide in the toe box area thanks for bunions
After 10+ years of using Altra, I gave Topo a try. Nice toe box but otherwise pretty uncomfortable and caused me quite a bit of foot pain. Back to Altras. So far so good.

Run small and don't really offer much pronation support.
I had to return these. They run a half size or so short. Also, for a shoe meant for overpronaters, the upper provides very little support to the inside of the foot. I put my orthotics with good arch support in, but they just don't work for my badly collapsed right arch. In addition, there was a flaw in the right shoe--fabric on the inside bunched and not properly sewn.

Smaller toe box
The toe box on these is nothing like the paradigm 6. Not nearly as much room. Running feel is about the same as the 6, besides that

Inconsistent Altra sizing
Altra is a having a problem with sizing. Current shoes are Torin 7 (which wear out quickly) but I was looking for stability. Tried the Provision 8 and the toe box height (the fabric part) was so loose that I got a blister on my small toe. Then tried the Paradigm 8 which were unusually tight at the heal. Finding an Altra that works is hit and miss.
