Love

I love these shoes. They are alittle snug around the toe area, so can't wear for extended period. I bought them because I work in the medical field, I love them but can only wear them if going out for a short time. I plan on ordering another pair but will go up 1/2 size.

Avoid!!!!! Painful and odd fitting.

I’ve owned Altras for years and am very loyal to the brand. The Superior 6 is not a good shoe. Very painful pressure points on both the top of the balls of my feet. They cannot be loosened so I’ve been trying to “break them in” to the derogation of my poor feet. The tongue is only attached to one side. It does not cover the entirety of the foot so there’s pain there too. I’ve even tried without socks. Nothing helps. Very expensive pair of goodwill shoes.

Expensive sneaker

This item was very expensive, ran small and still hurt my feet 👣 it gave me pain and know support, it was supposed to be wide in width? But it was tight on my feet and I ordered a size up, know arch support, know heel support, none of which it claimed to help with my feet pain. Not worth the money

Well made and comfortable

These shoes are very well made and have stood up to rugged use for the last 2 months. They have a supportive heel cup and mid-foot with a good wide toe box for stability. They are not only comfortable, they look good too!

Sizing/seaming is different

My mom loves this brand of shoes and has several in a similar style. I had to return the original pair, because the sizing was so different. She went up a whole size from her others to fit comfortably. She also said there is a seam in these in a different place, which makes them fit tighter, so she has to work the laces looser and wear thin socks. Otherwise she really likes them, but doesn't love them as much as the other style. The colors are great and look as advertised.

At least the color is nice....but way too narrow

I have been an advocate for Altras, especially the olympus 5 and lone peak all weather hiker. But these are way too narrow and extremely tight. The toe box is tight. The arch and midsole are tight. They do not feel like zero drop shoes. Within 5 mins my feet are numb. I fell in love with altras due to their unique width. I am a very small person with apparently very feet. (5'5", 109lb, shoes size 5-6.5) I never thought I'd find a pair of shoes that were actually comfortable until I discovered the Altras, but the last two I've order are herendously narrow. I wore my Lone Peak hikers and Olympus shoes for weeks in Iceland and Ireland, walking and hiking 16 hours a day and my feet never hurt, I didn't even need my orthotics. Ibqear my Olympus 5s as a nurse all day. But these, I couldn't get them off my feet fast enough. 😔
