These running shoes are so comfortable! They offer great support and do not squish your toes in the front with their wide toe box. They have held up for nearly a year even with running a few times a week. I am normally a 6 and I ordered a 6 so they are true to size.
An employee at REI recommended these to me over Hoka, On Cloud, New Balance, Brooks, and Keen. I could not be happier. At first I ordered a normal width but exchanged the first pair for the 9.5W (wide). I have a really hard time finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet since I work 12+ hours a day on my feet. But THESE—genuinely such high quality!! The material is strong and I can’t imagine it ripping anytime soon, the fit is comfortable and breathable, and for a wide shoe they are aesthetically pleasing. Especially the color! I was scared to order the blue but so many coworkers have noticed and said the color looks gorgeous!!I have wide feet—roughly 4 inches wide, and the wide size fit me much better than the snug normal width. If you need arch support, these shoes may not be for you. I find them so comfortable because there isn’t an arch creating unnecessary discomfort for my extremely flat feet. But I’m sure if you swap out the insoles you’ll be very pleased.Another thing to note is the zero heel-to-toe drop. I like that my heels sit slightly lower than my toes. It distributes weight so much better and neither the balls of my feet or my heels hurt at the end of the day. I wish I could give these a 6/5.

Great roomy toe box, ultralight, and the truly comfortable. Said by a person with multiple plates and screws in the foot almost severed. Buy them already.
I wanted to love these. In terms of the fit, they're great. Enough space for my toes to splay. However, the wear and tear of these is absolutely ridiculous. I've had then for 6 months, but haven't worn the enough to justify tears on the material. Sure, the mesh is comfortabke and breathable, but they already have holes on the sides. I was initially going to use these for my runs, but they they are lacking in ankle support, so I've been using them exclusively for walking.My last pair of walking shoes lasted much longer than these. I can't justify paying this much for these shoes. I recently purchased the torin 8s. I hope they are upgrade. If not, I may be giving up on this model.
I saw a review that said to get your size in wide to have that Altra wide feeling and I am so glad I did. My foot is not particularly wide, but I tried a regular size (non wide in another style- Timp) and they were too tight. I like the look of these shoes as well. They are grey with blue highlights - not black and white as they look in the photos.
