The best thing ever for chronic foot pain
These shoes were recommended to to as a way to keep long distance walking and dealing with chronic foot pain. They are so comfy and supportive. I am able to walk 5 miles or more ONLY because of these shoes. They are true to size and no need for a “wide” width thanks to the large toe box. The color is great and don’t show dirt while the quality is top notch. I have walked almost 100 miles so far and they are very durable! I highly recommend!!!

Supportive with Comfort
I walk in these shoes twice daily and they are very comfortable with my insole in. My insole fits in easily and I still have plenty of toe room that I love. No pinching or numbness with these shoes. They have cool colors that make me happy. I have been wearing Altra shoes for years now and I find they are worth the money for their support, especially as I age. I feel well supported when I wear them. I would definitely recommend you give them a try. They were shipped fast, too.

My favorite running shoes ever
I like so many things about these shoes. I'll break down what there is to love, and what things you might not love so much, depending on what type of running/activity you do.(1) The cushion level is really nice. I'm middle-aged now, so I have to always be thinking about shock absorption. They're not the softest/squishiest footbed you've ever stepped into, but the amount of cushion between you and the ground is good. I don't think I would go for a shoe with more cushion than this. Here's what you might not like: if you're running on a lot of terrain, you'll find yourself getting off-balance a lot, in which case you would want to go for a more minimalist sole/cushion level.(2) Wide toe-box. I'm glad to see Altra appealing to the little things that runners need. Your toes need to be able to splay out when pushing off, especially if you have wider feet.(3) Zero heel-to-toe drop. The reason I'm a huge fan of this feature is because in the past when I was wearing shoes with a medium-to-high toe drop, it wouldn't allow me to do mid-foot landings (it was making me heel strike every time, and it was a hard thing to fight). And if you are a natural heel striker, these shoes will help correct some of that. That said, it's always good to reevaluate your running form and practice at what you need to do better.(4) I personally like the overall aesthetic of these. I'm a girl, and I think these look very sporty and cute. My husband also has a pair, and he likes the way they look on him. He said ever since getting these shoes, it's the first time he's been able to jog without back pain (broke his back a few years ago).(5) Durability. I get several months of use out of these shoes, and then I retire them to dog-walking shoes.(6) Price. I feel like these are somewhat competitive price-wise with similar shoes made by other brands.

Great for workout and walking
I love these shoes. I have arthritis in my big toe joint and these shoes have helped me do dance cardio and other workouts with less bending of my toes, and so much less pain later, due to the rocking sole. And, they are really comfortable with a lot of cushion for jumping.

Comfiest shoe EVER!
These are the all time comfiest running shoes I’ve ever worn. These are my second pair and won’t be my last! They are full of support for your arches and ankles with the big platforms. It’s like walking/running on clouds. I always size up a size and a half for running, but for walking or everyday purposes I’d size up a half size!
